This was actually quite a hit. Freshontv used to be the very next best thing to BTN and now that is gone things get a little more complicated. People will either run to BTN, as long as they can manage to get in in time at least. Or they will try and make MTV the great thing it was always supposed to be.We will see.
Overall though, we are truly sailing on unknown waters here. Concerning tv at least. Curious whether finally mtv pushes further development or a new tracker arise from the ashes of the old one.
I never liked freshon. Haven't loged in since 2014!
I used to like it. It was Romanian tracker and has rules and faq in English and Romanian. Easy to build a buffer without cheating. Cheating was easy too. High quality content was too many and quick of the best encoding teams scene and p2p.
Wow, two torrent sites shutting down in two days. I know there are alternatives and maybe even a dedicated replacement will spring up, but this is bad. And yes, FreshOn was a highly decent (and more accessible) counterpart to BTN.
While indeed sad, the reasons they gave were at least true. I always loved TvT.com and switched to freshon quite a while after they shut down.
It felt like most torrents had like 20 people on them tops, making cheating very difficult or even actually uploading for a good ratio almost impossible.
They were good, but this is one of those things that netflix is quickly doing better and better and i feel like most people can't be arsed anymore.
This is just too sad. I loved this tracker, everything I needed TV related I got from this tracker, it was very resourceful. Let's see if MTV can grow larger now. We also have BitMeTV, but this one is a little bit hard to cheat, not impossible though.
