Secondly, sorry for not replying as soon as you posted. I was the only one in my office who kept going to work after we got the "you're done on March 31st" e-mail, which meant I had thrice the workload plus the responsibility of leaving things as well as possible before parting myself. Needless to say, the last ten days have been hard. Every time I got home I could only think of making dinner and go to sleep, I couldn't even visit here at all.
You don't have to a apologize, I appreciate your post and glad you got the time to reply!

Thirdly... wow. This is a great surprise. It's so nice to see you still remember us after so long!
Of course I do. The thanks goes both ways I think, I expected my account to be deleted or demoted or something.

In the last months leading to your hiatus I remember posts about being anxious and storing computer parts in different cupboards so you wouldn't be tempted to go waste time online; now you've graduated and got the degree.
Oh yeah, that was my trusty old PC that I hid so I don't fail the "high-school diploma" (Core2Quad Q6700, http://www.sb-innovation.de/members/...7-showoff.html), I gave it to my father and now I have 4790k. Pretty old now, the 8700k looks interesting but with Intel's latest fuck ups, my new processor might be an AMD one, a first for me if that happens!

Finding a job is a bitch, I'm sure I applied to at least a hundred places before I was able to find something steady (and now I lost it, duh). Just keep going at it. With two degrees under your belt, you're bound to find something good eventually.
Indeed it is, perhaps we were born a little bit too late, ATS (Applicant tracking systems) (fuck you Taleo) are the worst invention thing ever, although they are a necessary evil, but why did they have to exist once I got my first degree :eek13:

I'm sad after reading that your experiences have been bittersweet, and that you haven't been well both physically and mentally. But as cliché as it sounds, look at all the things you were able to achieve.
Then you got some real-world work experiences, even if they didn't last long. Then you resolved to go to a foreign country just to improve your education even more, and did exactly that.
I'd like to finish this "letter" with two thoughts...
One, it may not look like it, but things will get better, so keep your head up. It's not just Sazzy, everyone here who knows you is rooting for you, even if we can't do much from the other side of the screen.
Thanks! I appreciate the thoughts.
I'm supposed to start the new job in either mid-april or the 1st of May, they (the government HR dude in the institute i'd be working at) said "we'll call you". I was like "okay, bro?".
The good thing about government jobs is short working hours, I hope i can make use of that by freelancing as well.
I hope you you win the job lottery too! Please keep us updated.

Two, I don't care if it's been years and What.cd no longer exists and I lost my login URL for the discussion forum, we have to finish that SB-I videogame one day =]
hehe, I still have the forum login and password but I haven't tested them again yet. Anyway, I have attached some of the games' assets, perhaps the game will be as good as FFXV, I mean it's been in development hell too
Big-ass sword is homage to your first? Cloud avatar.
Seal represents SB-I (seallion our ex-mod) vs a cat (melvin meow)
Anti-mac as a gesture towards instad
and anti-linux because most linux distros were garbage at the time
also look! old nVIDIA logo
