I don't use Mac that much, but If it's terminal works like linux, then perhaps you need to run it through the terminal to see some output.

This is a dumb question and I think that the answer is no, but can I install this version and update Transmission via "Check for Update..."? If I do I am going to lost the mod?
Ok so I just tried and no you can't update Transmission if you do it you'll lose the mod :/
Can someone please do this with the latest version of Transmission please? This one is old and very buggy (lot of memory leaks)

Unfortunately Transmission mods always had a small following compared to their alternatives. It doesn't help that the client itself had no official Windows version early on.
