I am informed she's already taken.
I'll receive boob pics either way and share them with the misses
Where is this real specimen? Will it be delivered or do I have to pick it up?
you'll know him when the time arrives (perhaps you already know him, i mean, her)Quote:

That's very sweet of you, but don't say it aloud or my cablemodem will get jealous.
Overnight delivery :naughty:
No need to bother. Multiple answers have been given to the initial question, and its asker seems to have no further ones, so we're not "ruining" any discussion. Let's just have some fun here (because if we don't, what's the point of living?).
Who said I never tried? :P
Different perspective but big difference as well. I don't have to take any action in case of a delivery...
It's ok, I have a cable modem as well.
How much does that cost?
if life was defined as (or if it emerged as) 'experiences excluding fun', then the point of living would be to experience it (without ever knowing fun)Quote:

the common event is 'the delivery' - everyone involved in the event view the event from their own perspective and subjectively think/feel/sense different things regarding the event, even though objectively only one event (the delivery) happened
regarding the glass example, the beholders have different subjective views based on what they experience (thoughts/feelings/sensing/...) while beholding the glass, even though its still the same glass, the same object of their observation, which means that their senses are providing a distorted or partial or conditioned image of what objectively is
another related example is the 'blind men and the elephant' mentioned in another thread
and from your response ('big difference') one can see the power of a subjective view and why the majority of people have a hard time going beyond that, it could be said that they are addicted to their own subjective view
Nah, just saying, she's pretty awesome~
The more time passed since I made this post, the more sending her a "hi, what's up" e-mail seemed like a good idea.
So I totally did...
1 = the truth may be somewhat creepy, but that message does existQuote:
anon from [class of 2010] here ;) Recently I found in my e-mail box a message I sent you four years ago1. This got me thinking about a lot of stuff. I always believed you were one of the seven people in the school who had a future2, and the little I heard about others since then seems to prove me right. A long time has passed since then -- remember when were were part of the "support team" that lasted two classes and then disbanded silently?3 If you read this, I'd really like to know what became of you.
Bye :)
2 = she was as smart as she was beautiful
3 = this was a support team for students with low grades, in which we taught them stuff and meta-stuff like how to study properly; when the third class never started and I prompted an authority figure about it, I was literally told to just go home and heard no further news again
Worst-case (and likely) scenario: no response, and my life goes on
Best-case scenario: she answers and tells me all that stuff was so awesome
And if I'm told to fuck off, decades of experience in going to tracker disabled IRC channels and being a keyboard warrior have prepared me for that :eyebrows:
Will keep you posted.
I'm selling my advanced user title for 200 euro + 10$/reputation bar. For more info pls PM me :D
If €200 is a good amount to ask for an AU, I'm aiming at six-digit figures myself. Also, I have spent more than one fourth of my life posting here daily (seeing my join date and knowing I'll be 22 in a couple of weeks, do the math), so I'm only taking serious offers.
Thank you.
200 ns + 2 days and no reply yet :gew: It is to be expected in this age of Myfacespacebook, however. And that's sad, because a survey of all SB-I members who have more than 30000 posts revealed 100% of them use e-mail daily, and 0% use social networking sites1
1 = some months ago, we surveyed several first and second year classrooms in the school I work at, and only 20% of them had used e-mail in the last week, while for Facebook it was 98%

@anon - there's 1st time for everything.. i was not saying just go on fb and send the msg again.. make a fb acc and add friends including her.. after a while u can send her a msg " Do u still use ur email or somethin like that" ?
The creepy thing is being a girl that gets stalked by random guys.
not sure where you are from, but in my book that's defined as creepy xDQuote:

It can go either way of course, if you two were best buds back in the day, it won't be creepy. If she was that one chick you talked to once or twice, it might get weird fast.
You guys are the masters of romance, btw
umm, what guys? there's only anon, a friend from the pastQuote:

Hi anon, thank you.
It's good to hear from you, with regards to the support team, I remember "at least it was worth the try" hahaha.
I'll tell you I'm on the second year of the upper-level technician in clinical analyses, this quadrimester I'm also attending one subject at UBA1.
And you, what's up with your life..?
Well, I hope you're fine.
So, I replied.

I was told we'd be given money, and that was reason number zero why I signed up for it. Years later, I'd find out those who did stay weren't paid either. Oh well - "nothing lasts but nothing is lost".
Remember having delivered the netbooks at the end of the year too? ;) I'm never forgetting that December 10th, 2010, because fifteen minutes after obtaining such a precious object, we almost became victims of a robbery in the 9 de Julio McDonald's. Luckily I lived to tell the tale...

I started English teacher's training at [redacted]. But two years in I paused it because the rhythm and pressures were different. That same year I looked for a job, getting it in a hardware repair company. I lasted one month (enough to get my paycheck) because the atmosphere wasn't very good, and also I had a trip to Mar del Plata scheduled for February :)
Post-holidays, I repeated my search, and five minutes after sending my CV to a government post soliciting network administrators, they told me they wanted to have an interview with me. I agreed, and soon afterwards I got the position, in a technical school in the neighborhood of [redacted] (it's in 1234 Redacted Street if you want to drop by one day).
The role's function is to ensure the proper operation of network and computing equipment within the school. The Conectar Igualdad1 plan (yes, the law of attraction is true!) is an important part, but not the only one. Being as objective as possible, I think we (we're two - a very capable lady who also has a teaching role, and me) do a good job. This year we optimized things so much that on many occasions, the only work for the day is unlocking a couple of netbooks, because everything is in near-perfect conditions. And we used that free time to think how to make things even better - for example, implementing a virtual campus from scratch to be used in the distance classes Macri2 will add in 2015 ;) The school itself has a good level, and treatment by the authorities is just as good, which is very important.
Leaving that aside, some months ago I attended a government exam that qualifies you for English teaching. I passed everything (was surprised that just in the first stage only 25% of people made it; I spent more time copying things over from my draft sheets than answering the questions), got my degree, and plan on putting it to use next year.
That's my life in many lines of text. All in all, it could be wor- I mean better. Sorry for boring you :)
> It's good to hear from you
I think the same :)
2 = Mauricio Macri is the Chief of Government of the city of Buenos Aires
Sorry for the crappy translation, made it in a rush.
Well, something interesting happened last Friday. She e-mailed me out of the blue to ask about some old classmate and whether he had had a kid.
I suspected she didn't want to know about the guy, who was but an acquaintance to me and a complete nobody to her, as much as she wanted to just talk. So I told her what I knew (the dude did leave his girlfriend pregnant, and was working a shit-ass job) and that I thought meeting face to face to chat about stuff would be a good idea - since, well, there was nothing to lose.
She agreed and this it will happen next Thursday. Let's see what comes out of it :ninja:
Obviously she wanted to talk to you ;) anon
Have fun this thursday we'll be rooting for you
Be like this guy :craig:
It is all good as long as the girl likes you and it seems she does so have fun and keep us posted:top:
