1 microwave minute = 5 subjective time minutes.
Another thing not to do with it: boil water.

lol, that was hilarious :D
But funny thing, my mom usually heats her milk in microwave, and it's just fine!
ISP's tech service finally arrived today. Apparently the amplifier in the rooftop is broken. They'll drop by again this week1 to fix that, and my connectivity should be fixed. I suspected of the modem, since it randomly rebooted itself (wonder what the average service life of a cablemodem is).
And after a week, there's still no electricity at my school. Looks like this work year is off to a slow start :idunno:
1 = ...maybe
Very plausible IMO. Also I read sometime ago discussions that mobile phones along every other gadget that uses too much microwaving are like the "future" cigarette, in which we will only know its true damaging power in years to follow, pretty much like what happened with the past of the cigarette, i.e., today everyone knows it's bad for health, but 50 years ago it was present and enjoyed everywhere by so many people.
Just think about all those men carrying their phones right next to their crotch..!
At least mine's in my purse~
It's happened just twice I think, and always got fixed within 24 hours. Worst thing is, I wanted to take advantage of the period between February 18th and March to plan the rest of the year and test some hardware1 - but reality said no.
I'm not taking any courses, I work there! Don't worry, it took them a few weeks to remember this. Used to get stopped at the door all the time, they thought I was a student trying to escape :eyebrows:
Speaking of which, may I recommend the movie Thank You for Smoking (2005) - IMDb

1 = does transforming an Athlon XP to an underclockable, undervoltable Mobile Athlon following this guide work? Is my floppy drive damaged or just misunderstood? My laptop has two Mini PCIe slots, one for the wireless NIC, and another for a DVB tuner, which an external antenna plug is connected to; if I wire the jack to the WLAN card instead and plug the antenna, will I get better signal? I should bother to research how antennas work.
I just wanted to mention that.Quote:
