Anon please update leeching pack to uTorrent 3.4 ... 3.0~3.2 doesn't support torrents over 900GB ~ 1TB
Thanks.

LOL 2.2 TB Nice stuff ehhe
Thanks for the great answers.
I'd like to share some information regarding the overload issue:
1- If you're bandwidth allows you to download 30-50MB/sec you should really invest on RAM and cheap ATI gfx cards with lots of VRAMs. In my case, I was able to download with 50MB/s using 16G ramdisk.
2- In windows machines, utorrent "move" feature is bogging down everything. If you really need to move your completed downloads from one place to another automatically, you should at least do it on to different physical disks. Ramdisks are also great for being the dl location.
3- There is a great need for a serious torrent client. Features like Storage Pooling and Load Balancing and 64bit memory addressing is a must. Because the tech enables higher network BW everyday, leaving the storage tech far behind in terms of BW.
4- A quick fix for the utorrent overload issue is by pausing the client itself if the memory has some leakage. Ie, the memory usage climbs up rapidly. One can also write a monitor program for this behaviour; which would use the following pseudo-code:
if(memory.utorrent(tNow)-memory.utorrent(tNow-10000mSec))>=300000000b
while(memory.utorrent(tNow))>300000000b
pause(utorrent,300000000 mSec)
I'm guessing you're on Linux, or another system where solutions to use VRAM as swap space exist? I've always wanted to do that under Windows (especially on my old computer) but couldn't find anything.
Also, may I recommend a UPS if you're downloading so much data to a RAM disk.
That would only be a very hacky workaround at best. Suspending processes, especially active ones such as a torrent client, can cause filesystem inconsistencies, connection drops, and unstability.Quote:

Luckily, ATI pushed some proprietary utility called radeon ramdisk for windows lately.
Yes. If anyone wants to follow my suggestion (btw very very unlikely :)), he/she should consider pausing as the pause function in the client itself. through the cli, and I don't know if utorrent has any.
I have 100Mbps, downloads to my old magnetic HDD fine without overloads on full speed.Quote:

With standard settings long ago was having overloads, or just some lags\bugs caused them, no idea, now it's all fine.
DHT patch in other versions of UTorrent?
Can you guys make it happen?
Yes, you only have to edit some bytes in the executable.
