orangeusa.us and usauplink.us can seemingly detect ad-blocking programs and the HOSTS file method:
(message you get)Quote:
This page cannot be displayed because ad blocking software has been detected.
if you have a look at their main page's html code (near the end):
it seems it is google text ads they detect if are blocked. using a browser that lets you manipulate and reload html source on the fly (opera :D) you can remove that offending piece of code and the proxy itself will work perfectly. of course this can be a bit uncomfortable to make, specially if you're in a rush, and having so many other proxies that won't try to detect ad-blockers... :wink:Code:<script>
function dieAdBlockPlusDie()
{
var giframe = document.getElementsByTagName("iframe");
var bod = document.getElementsByTagName("body");
var blocked=1;
for (var i = 0; i < giframe.length; i++)
{
var name = giframe[i].getAttribute("name");
if(name == "google_ads_frame")
{
var blocked=0;
}
}
if(blocked)
{
bod[0].innerHTML = '<br> <br><p align="center"><font face="Century Gothic"><b>This page cannot be displayed because ad blocking software has been detected.<br/><a href="index.php">Try Again</a></b></font></p>';}
}
setTimeout('dieAdBlockPlusDie()', 4000);
</script>
fineproxy.com didn't work for me. could reach the url entry field, but when pressing "go" to load a site, all i get is a blank page. maybe my isp blocks them, or they're blocking my ip range... :/
as always: thanks for today's HUGE list. :top: :top:
