Argentina vs. Belgium was a make-or-break point. Argentina vs. Holland will be even tougher.
Currently working on a lightweight Windows 2000 that will be good enough to browse the Internet and run slideshows on a 500 MHz processor with 128 MB of RAM.
I'm still not clear on to which degree Wi-Fi support is implemented in the OS.
Well, that computer, which was collecting dust, can now be used to play educational slideshows and videos in class. And that inspires me to keep on going :01:
In case anyone's interested: I used nLite on a 2000 SP4 ISO to remove everything this particular setup didn't need. Once installed, Driver Identifier helped me find drivers for the wired and wireless network adapters. Opera 12.02 (the last version that works on Windows 2000, without using an unofficial kernel not available for non-English releases) and WiFi Hopper gave me Internet connectivity. Hopper has to be closed after you connect to the workshop's hotspot, because it uses a lot of CPU to refresh the network list. As for the office suite, Softmaker was chosen for its small footprint and full compatibility with Microsoft's products (I removed DirectX from the ISO, which broke Presentations, but after installing the 9.0c runtime it worked fine).
well that was certainly prophetic, hey Saz, was it intuition or just a wild guess?Quote:

That was some epic floor-mopping they did with Brazil.
And that is what Argentina will be playing against if we beat Holland tomorrow... :fear:
