I use AMD... not rich lol... Though I really do want an amazing tower with like a i7 inside.
Hamsters are running on an Intel E8400
Intel dual core 2180 x86/64
My laptop came with a AMD Turionx2 ultra 64 processorl ...although I would love to get an Inter Core i7 processor soon
Intel Dual Core e5300 2.6Ghz
This is like asking if vanilla ice cream is better than chocolate. You'll never get the right answer, as there is none. There will be only fanboy answers because they have that particular brand (so it must be best)...
Reading through most of the posts, most people here don't even seem to understand the differences, and just state they want the most expensive i-core. (e.g. a high end i5 will be more than enough for most people here yet everyone wants the i7)
Intel Q6600, Works perfect with Lion OSX too :top:
i have an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition 3.30/3.70 GHz so if i can vote i vote for AMD
intel is to expensive and provide mostly the same performances like a similar specs AMD CPU ..if whe talk only about games ..only good thing about intel is that intel CPU mainboard have around 8 slots for RAM...on AMD you can find only max 4 slots..beside that is no performance difference to be noticed for a medium user that use pc only for games , videos, movies, main stuff ..ofcourse excepting the price
