That 7 button you are talking about will have to start with windows. That's another few CPU cycles and MB of RAM wasted for useless functionality.
A word of wisdom: Install only the drivers that you need. If you don't need USB 3.0 or WebCam, DO NOT INSTALL THEM as they will eat your resources.
This goes for every driver on their site. Even if it says SATA drivers, they are not needed.
Do not install other software from them, like benchmarks, fan control etc.
