I think they go for more money.Just look at...donate.php , from 10$ up everybody get invites.Maybe in the future they'll stop the invites for PU and keep that only for vip.
...Sound as a familiar beginning:wink:

Even if it's a VIP account that you can buy, I don't agree with that making IPT P2L. You can still get in without paying, and:
Seeding is a breeze at both, popular torrents have at least 100 leechers.Quote:
If You have not RatioMaster or You are not SBI member you must donate at both tracker because you have no choice to keep your account alive
pay2leech - in a basic sense - you can't leech/download if you don't pay
if you can download without paying - its no longer pay2leech
if you get extra goodies for paying - its pay2get-extras, pay4premium or something like that
PM's and constant asking for donations is still not pay2leech unless it becomes forced up to the point you loose your download privileges and have to pay to continue downloading
everything else is just in the eye of beholder
Essentially, but while ScT, for example, doesn't make you pay before downloading torrents, it will ban you if you don't have a good ratio (and you can't access the tracker when banned), so for non-cheaters outmatched by the numerous seedboxes the only options are either seeding the freeleech torrents and packs until they have a decent buffer (which takes a lot of time) or donating to get upload GBs and balance your ratio - a sort of Hobson's choice, if you will.
this applies to all trackers to some extent, SCT is an extreme example - they are focused on elitism and speed
also, this applies to trackers with low number of leechers or new trackers and basically to any user with a sb-c (small bandwidth connection)
when i think about it no tracker really wants slow users and i think staff there would rejoice if all slow users would just go back to public places - the problem is that there are too many trackers out there compared to the number of fast users so they have to live with it - granted - the future trend should be gradually increasing connection speeds
btw, nice comparison at the end :top:
Yes, of course ScT is an extreme example. I just wanted to show a case of when "Pay2Leech" is extended to mean something slightly different from its original meaning - you're right on that if you're on dial-up, even FunFile can become "Pay2Leech" for allowing donors to get upload credit or VIP status.
Man, I should've signed up when I had the chance...
This should be a lesson. Don't neglect random trackers b/c they're easy to join..
Yes, but it'd appear trackers like IPT are the exception, not the rule. Most of the ones I've joined back when I registered at every open tracker hoping they'd come useful in the future ended up dying because of inactivity.Quote:

Same here anon..
even some trackers which i joined Died itself, dont know where They are gone...
i think new p2p & torrent/file sharing websites are increasing daily like crawling insectS...but only some of them are worth joining..
well now i only join Speciality Trackers that offer some uniQue content:biggrin:
Hm i still have one invite there even if i'm not vip...
Only Power user.
I think they're still giving PUs invites, but in a TL-like fashion: you get one every month, but can't have more than one at the same time.
looks like my lone invite would be worth heaps! hahaha!
Yes, ipt invites offer are somewhat scarce now compared to some weeks ago where we saw a lot on giveaways.Quote:
