Ich habe in der Vergangenheit etliche Clients ausprobiert und muß ehrlich sagen, daß µTorrent einzig und alleine all meine Anforderungen erfüllt. Er ist fast unsichtbar, sehr leicht zu bedienen und ist auch auf fast allen Trackern zugelassen, auch wenn nicht alle Versionen.

Ich geistere auch einige Zeit durch das Bit.-System und ich muss sagen Utorrent hat mich noch nicht enttäuscht. Es ist einfach zu bediennen und übersichtlich. Ganz klar ich bin für Utorrent

Azureus finde ich super, leider ist der zu langsam für mich.

habe für uTorrent gestimmt weil es aus meiner sicht der beste client ist leicht zu bedienen sich nicht viel an ram habe auch schon andere ausprobiert bin aber immer wieder zu uTorrent zurück gekehrt kann uTorrent nur empfehlen

uTorrent ist für Windows die beste Wahl, für den rootserver kann ich torrentflux und rtorrent empfehlen :smile:

Für den Mac ist Transmission die erste Wahl!
Wird auf fast allen ALTs akzeptiert.

I personally like uTorrent because it's small and just works. BitTornado is good too though but some trackers don't allow it for some reason

Utorrent war für mich bisher das maß aller dinge aber nach dutzenden updates usw und daraus resultierenden updates für leecher für mich uninteressant geworden. ich nutze nur sehr wenig das torrentsystem und wenn dann nur noch mit dem shareaza leecher von sbi. die clientemulation wird überall akzeptiert und der fake im shareaza macht dern rest. (für welche die den shareaza ausprobieren wollen unbedingt den Port im programm ändern da der von 6xxx fast überall geblockt wird.)

Also ich finde den rtorrent den besten (Linux) Clienten, benutze keinen Windows Client...
Als ich noch unter Windows die Torrents laufen hatte, verwendete ich utorrent, war aber noch vor diesen Gerüchten mit dem PhoneHome:)

Benutze seit der ersten Stunde Azureus und bin immer noch damit zufrieden.
Hab zwischendurch Utorrent und andere getestet, doch war das alles nicht immer sicher (für mich zumindest).
Selbst auf Ubuntu hab ich meinen Azureus gestartet bekommen, mittels Wine und ein paar modifikationen.

Nehme meistens meinen old & dirty Azureus 2.5.0.4 Client!
Falls der auf den Tracker nich unterstützt wird kommt halt uTorrent 2.0 zum einsatzt!

Im Alltag bevorzug ich Azureus, aber ab und zu mach ich auch mal Gehversuche mit halite. Irgendwie trau ich utorrent nicht. Nicht besonders rational, aber irgendwie fand ich den Besitzerwechsel damals etwas seltsam.

Für mich als Linux-Kind bleiben auf den ALT`s ja nicht so viele Möglichkeiten . . .
Konnte mich aber schnell mit Deluge anfreunden . . .
Übersichtlich , mit eingebautem und selbstständig updatenden IP-Blocker und fast überall akzeptiert.
Einfach klasse . . .
