That's because iframes and especially the ability to inject javascript into them pose a serious security threat and most browsers don't allow anymore what you're trying to do :lol:
Instead, try changing your solution and using something like jsPDF.
( Honestly, don't ever do iframes )
I know that very well. But still i'm looking for some kind of hacm or workaround.. In crome its works like a charm.. I dnt even have to handle onload or timeout thing.. It prints after the frame has been loaded.. In firefox it prints but before the ftame has been loaded with pdf. I've even used a new window but new windows on load doesn't get trigerred. And i hate using plugins . I'll get that bitch one way or the another.. Btw i'm using angular...
Are you creating or showing a PDF?
New windows are bad user experience though and often get blocked by plugins.
When using angular, why not just do it inline in your page? That's what angular does best. I feel like you're making this harder on yourself than it has to be!
Might want to check out https://vadimdez.github.io/ng2-pdf-viewer/
I don't want to show pdf.. I'm able to show pdf inline without using these plugins.. I just want show print pop up for pdf in mozilla.. I crome it is working fine..
Oh okay, I see. That's actually an open bug in firefox. ( ref https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=911444 )
You can work around it using Print.js ( https://printjs.crabbly.com/ )
But... there's a unicorn :gfrown: Anyway, the design is great, but it needs a few more things:
- "best viewed with Internet Explorer/Netscape Navigator" banners;
- a Nedstat button (the original Google Analytics!);
- more animated GIFs, ideally replacing every button and link with an animation;
- MIDI music playing in the background;
- scrolling text!
I agree, they should have made three analog clocks (local time, Miami and New York) follow the cursor, that rain of sparks does not fulfill any real function.
It didnt blink but it did have that 90s font style
