Add the mod(s) you're using to BitDefender's exception list so that it doesn't bother you anymore.
Is there a way to change the time elapsed on a torrent? Say I want to prove that I'm a hard core seeder. I want to set that like it has been seeded for over 2 months. How can I do that (if it is possible).
You'll find that as an integer called "seedtime" in resume.dat, inside the dictionary (entry) for that particular torrent. It stores the amount of seconds the torrent has been running for.

My mistake, the correct value to edit is actually called "runtime".
uTorrent 3.2 build 27636 Stable
can you build new pack 21 ?
any new version? :klatsch_3:
Will you be able to mod the new clients with ads to take out ads?
can you add "show download as upload" in your pack? thnx
i agree it.
Any news on a new version?
I'm not going to lie to you. Due to lack of time and general dislike of uTorrent 3.x.x, it's very unlikely that another pack will be released. Try Serenity, it's a better mod and based on 2.2.1, so it should be mostly usable.
Thank you BitTorrent Inc. for bastardizing the original idea behind uTorrent and turning the program into a mass of bloat.
That's a shame.
R.I.P low update
Life goes on...

Best version to Bypass traffic Shaping? I'm going nuts.
Any from 2.x.x onwards. Try bt.transp_disposition=10.
Not working, but thanks, TS very aggressive from ISP,
kinda noob question, multi 10x means if i upload 1kb, their server show 1mb?
1 KB times ten would be 10 KB, not a megabyte.
I'm on a great bandwidth here, allowing me to download more then 20MB/s (megaByte). But yet, I'm having huge memory leakage (caused by disk overloads) and crashes with 3.1.3 even after lowering this bw and leeching only 3 torrents. No seeding of course.
I don't know if it would get any better with 3.3. or else.
I'd like to ask a few questions because of my aforementioned problems:
With speeds like this and multiple I/O can be very hard on any external device. But I have to use external drive, because I only have a notebook on the network. But,
A smart torrent download tool should balance such issues by reducing I/O threads or lowering overall download speeds, allowing cache to be written on the disk. Not crashing. So,
1- What version or app should I choose to overcome this problems?
2- Should I install a virtual pc running a linux distribution and formatting the file system on that particular external drive to ext2,3..?
3- What is the purpose of serenity series? Is there any place of information you can refer me to?
4- Do you happen to know a specific model of external hard drive enclosure (those NAS stuff) that has been proven to be successful for I/O intensive tasks such as torrenting?
1. try uTorrent 1.8.5 with a disk cache as big as your computer/device's amount of RAM will allow, and conservative caching settings (i.e. disable any option that's about flushing the cache).
2. you should refer to the documentation to answer this question. Chances are it has a feature to format it directly from its interface, though. In a Windows-dominated world, making the user install a Linux OS to format the disk is hardly good design.
3. Serenity is to cheat the reports you send to the tracker, and disable uploading if you want to do that for whatever reason. I don't really see why it or this pack would be useful to you with your connection speed, but sure, I can refer you to further information.

4. I have near-zero experience with NAS systems, sorry. You might want to start a thread in our hardware section to get feedback on this one.
Are the ads removed from this edition?
I just need a clean version of it.
This build doesn't have ads to begin with. But apparently, you can disable them in later versions by setting sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled=false.
Hi Anon,
In regular uTorrent, what is the best upload limit value if I don't want to upload anything? Can I set to 0.1k/s? Does it affect overhead traffic?
I may switch to uTorrent 3, try some new features. They really added lots of shit in it.
Thanks.Quote:

So I will set these 3 to false, right?

You don't need to touch the advanced settings. The one I'm referring to is on Preferences -> Bandwidth and OK in its default value.
Is it possible to run NoReport Seeder simultaneously with original utorrent? for example, I have files seeding legitimately to certain trackers, whilst I want to use NoReport Seeder on certain torrents to report to other trackers.
Thank you. It worked. Sorry about not reading!
Hi anon, any news when release a Leecher Pack v21 based on latest uTorrent version?
