There are people that still play those?

Yes, including me. I never found myself in these new games. I'm having the time of my life playing simtower for example rather than the latest sim game.
Just an example. Take the following:
- doom vs doom 3
- elder scrolls vs skyrim
- starcraft vs starcraft 2
...and many many more
You cannot seriously tell me that you won't prefer the first game series ofer the latter in the examples above.
I beat u all.. i play Nintendo 8 bit games ( .nes) .. Evergreen games .. :D
Oh yea just watched Dallas buyers house.. Awesome movie.. Jered leto's performance was outstanding
Nothing, I just find the older varians more exciting that's all.Quote:
What's wrong with skyrim?
you would probably be right more often than not (similar to the first of a movie series, less so of an album series), however in the example above:Quote:

That's all.
At least with original Doom you don't have to set your monitor's brightness to 136% just to barely see where you're walking!
Doom 3 made me shit my pants on many occasions when I was a kid :D Loved that game!
Heretic used to shit my pants back in the day.

I remember playing it and was too scared to get out of my hiding place (in the game, obviously) and do some damage.
I just feel like older games were built wioth a lot more passion that those today.
You can add Alien Trilogy and Resident Evil 1 to the list.
Oh yeah, I remember playing RE1.
My PC was so lame that it froze immediately after the cut-scene when they ran from the chopper to the house. It couldn't even scare me
