Decent mainland chinese bands/singers?

Hi all!

Totally off topic but as the title says I'm looking for decent mandarin chinese bands or singers.
I'm not into c-pop and that sort of "commercial" music so it's becoming quite a task.
I am more into electronic-esque music so synthpop, electro, newbeat and overall post disco genres do catch my eyes ears :P
So far all I have found is I-GO which seems pretty nice (but they sing in english so...) and New Pants which I did not like that much.
The reason behind it is that I am studying chinese and I am looking for ways to improve myself :)

For the 1% thinking "Oh golly, desodorante has been quite absent on this here fine forum these days", it is because the forum can't be accessed from my sparkling new job (which I already hate :) )

I'm surprised your workplace blocks this forum. We aren't that massive and besides maybe the P2P talk nothing illegal is done here. Oh, and regarding bands, I know none. But hey, it's off topic. :idunno:

no idea, regarding cpop i only heard of 'fish leong' and that one was by mistake a long time ago (looking for a band called 'brave' and got a song called 'brave' by this singer, which is as wiki says: 'a Malaysian Chinese singer in the Mandarin pop scene') - can't recommend that though as it sounds kinda cheesy

No one is pushing me around, and you can always push me....from behind :wink2:
About the blocking thing: if I recall correctly, it says that it is a "Malicious web site", but don't worry, I've found some sites listed as porn and they are definitely not porn.

About the bands I've found nothing so far. I spent countless hours searching for all sorts of chinese music and liked nothing so far, they are definitely not that good at it :P
