The PopcornTime Thread

I'm dedicating this thread to all questions regarding popcorntime implementations.

I've read this post on reddit about the history of PopcornTime - https://www.reddit.com/r/PopCornTime...nd_the_future/
I've got to say I'm impressed. The struggle of it all and yet it lives on.

These guys say that https://popcorntime.sh/ is the safest at the current time.

What do you think?
Are there any risks of using this kind of software?
Any better alternatives?

haven't used the one you mentioned in the title

for alternatives you can try Kodi (works here, using Covenant add-on for movies), or check this thread for more details:

Some many of those streaming sites have lots of popups and ads. It makes it impossible to view them.

I do not see any risk using Popcorn Time , even you can set up a VPN within the app
