nope - looking forward to it though - the graphics are nothing special (looks like the gta 4 core engine) but the facial animation is stunning (better than heavy rain imo).
we'll just have to see if it's 'another rockstar sandbox game'... gta4 was ok for a while, rdr was basically the same game in a different setting and i've got a niggling feeling that this is going to be the same again...

not long until we know though...

'L.A. Noire' launching on PC this fall

Rockstar Games has announced that L.A. Noire, a next generation crime thriller developed by Team Bondi and now available for Xbox 360 and PS3, will be launched for PC in fall 2011. Set amid the post-war boom of Hollywood's Golden Age, L.A. Noire puts you in the shoes of decorated World War II veteran turned LAPD detective Cole Phelps as he attempts to unravel the truth behind a string of arson attacks, racketeering conspiracies and brutal murders, battling the L.A. underworld and even members of his own department to uncover a secret that could shake the city to its rotten core. You will search for clues, chase down suspects and interrogate witnesses as you struggle to find the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.

    don't get excited - it's junk.

just head to the video rental store and hire out something like l.a. confidential - watch it while holding a joypad like you're about to start playing any second and that's basically what l.a. noire is....

...aside from the fact that l.a. confidential has a better story

Rockstar, the developer... purposely withholds the PC release dates for as long as possible to make as much money as they can off the console versions first.

I'm playing this game and I must say it's pretty good! I'm a traffic detective right now and cases are interesting. Two things I don't like. First my laptop, it doesn't work so great and second the driving is pretty badly done. Just a little steer to left or right and you feel like you pulled the handbrake!
