How to bypass those extremely annoying fullpage ads (handy solution)

Tired of those sites that pop a full page ad where you need to click skip at the top to be able to see the page you were trying to originally see?

Well there is a bypass for firefox users:

Go here and install the grease monkey addon:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

install it and reboot your firefox

    now go here:

    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25225

and click the install button. this script blocks those pesky full page adds that I loathe so much especially when im browsing a certain porn tracker

There are even several other fine scripts located on those pages

Nice. I had my greasymonkey download the script and hopefully, it'll work.

This is something akin to Adblock for Firefox, I believe.

Nevertheless, I'll use whatever I need to get rid of annoying ads too.

But here's one thing that I found while reading the usercomment on this script:

very nice script! - i really hate those fullscreen ads
    Theres a problem tho..
it hides the ad, but disables the possibility to scroll down on the page the ad is on. (guess the ad does that)
    I've visited userscripts.org before.
Some of those scripts, some that is, don't really work as per user comments. Though, some do of course.

So I guess it's use at your own descrition.
    "God, from the mount Sinai
    whose grey top shall tremble,
    He descending, will Himself,
in thunder, lightning, and loud trumpet’s sound,
    ordain them laws".

    Oh, oh. Better use LINUX.
