that's actually really interesting. I was reading on filenetworks that Waffles banned Romania and then later, lifted the Romanian ban.

I don't even think that Romanians need to bother cheat'in. They've got great trackers themselves.

Don't be.If romanians haven't saw yet, tvtorrents.ro a.k.a. freshontv is way better now with new themes, a lot of freeleech and packs, it has all you need.So for all romanians who actually use bitmetv: give away the account or trade it and get yourself a freshontv invite.

Seriously people.... I live in the US and I use about 3 .ro trackers on a regular basis. Sure the PREtimes aren't as l33t as those seedbox trackers, but I get my 10mbit down maxed out nearly everytime on trackers like filelist. It's also way less hassle and easy to seed. Also RMT just plain rocks for my metal needs. If I had to switch to all .ro trackers, I would not be disappointed. As for BitmeTV, I've never been a member, but I can say FreshonTV is a great tracker as well.

i'd say romanians have quite a number of good-great trackers, thats something that should be acknowledged and many fast connections too

probably the crucial question, its likely that BMTV staff never discussed that with their .ro tracker admin colleagues

also, cheating doesn't harm the tracker operation much, mostly it just helps users with small bandwidth to survive on the tracker or to be able to get the stuff they want as the faster users without much effort do, also those that upload to cheaters get their uploaded amount counted anyways

in reality users with small bandwidth aren't very helpful to others since it takes way too long to upload anything bigger than a few hundred MB, things get worse (considering upload speed) when such users seed many torrents

the only serious problem that comes from cheating is if it is done without subsequent seeding (applies only to slow or/and poorly seeded torrents)

maybe because of the fact that users there are afraid to leech especially when they have a new acount because if you don't get a ratio bigger than 0.6 in 2 weeks you are banned, even if you have a box and seed non stop.

bitmetv pretty much sucks on new stuff. you get that anywhere. But 90s shows are hard to come by.
Problem is that stuff is retarded. they do think they're the king of something.

as for freshontv, i dunno never had an account, but i'll try to get one to see what's up there
