Thread: Where to start?

Hey guys,

Im kinda lost, there's so many different software and tuto I don't know where to start plus a lot of tuto are like 4-5 years old.

All I want to have is a high ratio, since it's my first time cheating I'm planning to do it on HDClub.org and later on Waffles.

I'm on Mac, I use Transmission but I have a virtual machine of Windows 10.

I'm replying to myself:

- I downloaded mRatio 5.2
- I downloaded a torrent from Waffles
- I checked the box "Waffles Method" in mRatio's options (so I let it in autopilot)
- I selected Transmission as Emulation and there's no Memory Reader, is it all right?

So now mRatio download at 50 kB/s and upload at 40 kB/s a 100 MB torrent.

Is everything good?

Can I let this torrent seed forever?

A little tip: impatience and cheating on trackers don't mix well. If you have to do lots of reading, do it, and don't assume that for example the Waffles functionality in mRatio can be used with no configuration for a 100% success rate (or that it only works on the place it's named after, for that matter).

Also, you can't let any torrent fake upload "forever". Eventually real traffic on it will come to a halt, but you'll be saying you're still uploading data, which is easy to catch. Pick active torrents, do your work while they remain active, then seed at 0 KB/s for a long time.

I already read a lot of threads/tutos here but there's some things that remains unclear.

Basically right now I want to "perfect cheat" on Waffles, and, from what I can read, all I have to do is:

- Fake download the torrent at a safe speed, like 40 kB/s
- Fake upload the torrent at a safe speed, like 50 kB/s
- Put a setting in mRatio that tells it to stop fake seeding when the torrent reach a low number of leechers.

That's it? Seems too simple to me...

I have a few questions:

- What's the point of seeding @ 0 kB/s for a long time?
- What's the "Leeching 0%" mode?
- What's the "Seeding 100%" mode?

Some trackers give out points just for being on the torrent, despite the fact if you're uploading or not.

Report as if you've downloaded 0%.

This tuto is from 2009... In 6 years Waffles.fm didn't updated their scripts?!

Plus this tuto is so poorly written, there's so many things I don't understand, he says:

you can use speeds up to 2mb

And then:

you put there upload speed 1024 kb

So is it 2 mB/s or 1 mB/s? Is he talking about download or upload?

What does "don't update tracker" means? That I must not click on the "Manual Update" button in Ratio Master?

You let it do it's thing until it reaches the update limit,like 2-3 minutes before update and you stop it

So I have to keep an eye on Ratio Master and click the "Stop" button before it update? But what if the torrent isn't completely downloaded? If I stop it then how can fake seed it?

What is a snachlist?

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO SHOWING HOW THIS METHOD WORKS? That would be so much easier to understand than all those tutos

Its not poorly written.. U're a noob that's it

1. yes the script has not changed
2. by 2 mbps he meant that u can put upload speed upto 2 mbps in ratio master (its the maximum limit he recommended)
3. when he said 1 mbps.. its a example ..to be safe he said 1 mbps
4. don't update means dont click on manual update button
5. stop it 2-3 minutes before means --> " usually the waffles tracker updates stats after every 30 minutes.. when 27 minutes pass u click the stop button in ratio master
6. u don't have to actually to keep record of the time we have ratio master extended for that made by cheatos
7. if torrent is not completely downloaded .. u still press stop button and start torrent again.. only this time u don't set 0 upload speed... when its downloaded and 28 minutes passes clickn stop and then put 0 upload speed and seed
8. snactchlist - list of torrents u downloaded from tracker.. its contains info how much u downloaded on that torrent and how much uploaded and with what average speed

I just found a version of Transmission with No Report Leecher http://www.sb-innovation.de/f45/mac-...leecher-21394/ is ghost leeching a good idea nowadays?

From my noob point of view it's seems to be a better and simpler idea than using all those softwares to alter your ratio, all you have to do is download with a modified client that don't report your download, why don't everybody use this? Is it safe to use it with IPTorrents and Waffles?
