Thread: Trackers announce list for public trackers

so i have a big announce list of trackers announce but i don't know if it's good when you create a new account
i'm asking..is good to put around 200 trackers announces list in the torrent when you create the torrent for public trackers
or is better to paste only the usual ones

i have tried with 200 announce list and my seedbox shows the torrents in red sooner or later because some of trackers announce are offline ( can't resolve host name error )

should i paste only this one

No, using a lot of announce URLs is a common mistake that brings no benefit and wastes a lot of bandwidth.

You should be more than fine by using the OpenBT and PublicBT announces.

and other question..if i edit the announces in seedbox should i edit them also on each public tracker or it will self update ?

Certainly. Less is more

Not sure of what you mean with "each public tracker". What you edit in your seedbox only applies there - if you have already uploaded a .torrent with 200 announces somewhere, it'll stay like that.

exactly this i wanted to mention..i have already uploaded torrents on public with 200 announces..right now i have to get them down and repost them again
at least right now i know to create a proper torrents thanks to my old buddy anon
