What did you do, taking a peer_id from 2.0 and using it as a custom ID in Vuze? That'll still show you as using the uT version you selected, as well as having a nice "[FAKE]" next to your client version in others' peerlists.

how i do thatdid you try connecting to yourself to check the [FAKE] thing?
i think you can also check with wireshark connections that go from your pc and you will see what "announces" vuze, utorrent send..

Run a uTorrent instance, load a torrent, load the same torrent in Vuze, start it, go to uTorrent, highlight the torrent, go to the Peers tab, right-click -> Add Peer, type:
127.0.0.1:[Vuze port here]
And press OK. See whether the new client that will appear in the list (your Vuze instance) shows up as "[FAKE] uTorrent 2.0" or not.
Edit: yes, the Wireshark thing was what I meant with checking the announces.

anon, don't see me in utorent, you sure 127.0.0.1:[Vuze port here] is right, when i click add peer get this info; enter the IP:port / [IPv6] :port of the peer to add
i started download from publick tracker with utorrent, then started it with vuze...
i just can't connect to my self lolol.maybe something with router or adress is wrong?
how about i PM you torrent and my ip and port and you then add me in peer list and look?
sounds like a plan!!
oops.. I mean..
hehe I really wanna see this working
i am now uploading with vuze and same time downloading with utorrent that torrent ,in utorrent i go to peer tab, click add peer and nothing, see just other peers. vuze and utorren are configured for private trackers, dht disabled...
Go to uTorrent's Logger tab, right-click -> Peer Traffic Logging, and tick Log outgoing connections. Try to connect to yourself again and post the related log entries here.
