Yesterday night there was this dinner for all the computer people at my school, and I was invited. But I've been in a depressive mood since last week (have yet to find out why), and didn't really feel like going...
...so I didn't.
Then, my perception is probably skewed, but yesterday, it seemed like twice the usual amount of people came into my office to essentially bother me with shit. And I had to chit-chat, even though I didn't even feel like speaking, otherwise they'd either get offended or make the despised "what's wrong" question.
E-mails arrived, asking me what happened. I ignored them. Was going to reply with something along the lines of "it's better this way, I'd only have screwed the evening for you all", but decided against it.
Today I went to my former college, got inside the most isolated empty classroom available, and started simply reading stuff on the Internet...
If I didn't have to go to work, I could do this all day long. But I have to be there in four hours. Let's see what kind of fallout I'll be dealing with.

Planned for February. Did it in '13 and it was pretty good (due to the change of scenery plus being able to do whatever I wanted). Wanted to do it this year, but everyone had gone on their own or was just about to.
