Looks like an average movie to me. When I heard that an facebook movie is going to be released I had some hope, that it would be more critical towards the current discussions. But this looks like the normal college drama between two partys.

some time ago there was the slumdog millionaire, now we get college billionaires, so whats next, the trillionaires (like the FED)?

as for the movie contents is does seem to resemble the usual college/teenage mixture, what would be more interesting is to depict this social network community, its groups, mechanisms, connections and so on, not just the top managerial level

an example how an interesting/inovative low budget series take on a group part of 'the scene' has been done see:

The Scene (miniseries, 2 seasons) available as free online download

It bored the hell out of me....i do like dialogue driven movies, but this movie was going nowhere and as i was progressing through the narative timeline i got this feeling of the old "American dream" movies i used to hate. After doing a little research i was dissaponted to see that they took "liberties" regarding the story....as in "adding fake b***s***" to make the movie and characters more interesting.

Proof that any douche can be a billionaire.

Didn't like it. Even though they tried hard to make him seem like a victim in the end, the pretentious elitism of the Harvard elite is pervasive throughout the entire spectrum--it isn't exclusive to the silver-spoon jocks. Had no sympathy for him in the beginning, and even less in the end. Well made, but ultimately the subject and setting killed it for me.
