I hope it's good as first was!
Just came back from watching this. Constant action, and the storytelling was good.

So you recommend it? I hear people talking it's not as good as first one!
Personally I thought it was crap. But the reviews from friends say otherwise. But I can say, without a doubt... not as good as the first one.
Yes, maybe not as good as the first one, but still one of the best movies of the summer and maybe year (well see about that :))
What about Guardians of the Galaxy? Not good movie?
Why would you say that? Its really cool and funny, and has awesome 3d effects, too.
lol, my bad. I didn't read your previous post right. I thought you said this movie is the best one this summer. That's why I asked if you think Guardians sucked
don't remember the first part being so ugly/slimy/depressive nor boring with most of the story, whereas the action scenes here got too nonsensical to even bother mentioning any details
visually, it was well done, probably the best thing about the movie
rourke's amnesia - shaky start
frat boys scenes - worthless
rourke & his old (invisible) neighbors? rourke as guardian angel (of alba) or fallen one (intro falling scene), commanding others (old town executions)?
old town = old testament? new town = sinful new age, hence 'sin city', seeing things black & white (dualism)
colors:
black & white = color of sin
full color = purity (marcie as lady luck, only helps or is innocent)
half color (only hair & co., not skin) = partially sinful?
levitt's 2 movie chapters = weak, not convincing, except for the $40 doctor scene (worth every penny?)
ghost of willis - useless, constipated ghost?
liotta? lol
brolin's parts - not really that interesting
2 cops chapter - lame, filler
eva green - overdone nudity as her last card to make some waves in the business?
girls of old town - yawn (old town twins = good cop angel in full color and bad cop angel/demon in black & white)
alba - dancing was fine, acting average and action scenes just silly (black & white all the time? must be a sinner then)
rourke - did not disappoint, most enjoyable character
senator - solid
his son (the picture) - did not disappoint
1st part was better.. This part was good.. action scenes were lame but story telling was just like 1st part which was good and best thing was EVA Green
