yeah, it was pretty lame: the story/plot (utter nonsense), levitt (bland), willis (embarrassing), kid-monster (ridiculous), weapons/executions (lol mkay), etc. - seems imdb ratings got stuck in a loop of their own, getting an eye-rolling 7.7, so nothing new there either, eh?

you are your own riddle and the solution to it
(no one else will solve it for you, regardless of their abilities, this is your task and yours alone),
know thy inner being (aka true self) and nothing else will matter
as this is the only fundamentally worthy goal in life

Completely agree! AT first I thought Levitt and Willis will kick some ass together, but NOOO they're after some freakin wizard kid! That was just boring, and after that you already know how the movie ends, don't need to brainstorm much!

i have to agree with you guys on this - i watched this film with my missus a couple of weeks ago - 2 hours that we'll never get back kinda sums things up.

it wasn't awful, just really disappointing and a wasted opportunity - the concept was great, but the story they told was really... meh.
