Installation:
1. Download and install Azureus (if this is a Beta/CVS update, download the latest NON BETA release) (Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download).
2. Optional: If you want to make a backup of your old Vuze version. Go to the install directory and rename Azureus2.jar to Azureus2.jar.bak
3. Extract the RAR using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus) and overwrite ALL files.
4. Run Azureus and Enjoy!

Troubleshooting:
Before posting problems please make sure:
1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads).
2. You have removed the Azureus folder in %PROGRAMFILES% (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. You have removed the Azureus folder in %APPDATA% (The folder may be hidden).
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Azureus for XP
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Azureus for Vista
4. Reinstalled Azureus using the package from Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download
5. Re-applied the hack from the downloaded RAR.

Warning: Performing steps 2 and 3 will wipe your torrent list and Azureus settings.


Single Exe version (All in One)
Single Exe version doesnt need Vuze installed on your PC just download, extract and run the exe. Only java is needed to be installed.

Additional Info:
You can upgrade from a previous version seamlessly - your torrent list will not be lost.

I don't think that's causing the issue, but a Java reinstall wouldn't hurt. Remember to use JavaRa to remove leftovers from your current JRE before reinstalling.

Can you check with an older Extreme Mod version?

ok, i will. I tested 2 different things. changing save destination off of my external hd, and changing client emulator. neither worked, so i will try older version of mod.

EDIT: ITS STARTING TO SEEEED!!! although i think its real seeding? how can you tell?

Real seeding goes to the "Upload Speed" column. Fake upload goes to the "Fake Upload Speed" column.

LOL,, didnt even see those. well, my fake upload speed, and fake downladed amounts are the same. as well as the fake ratios. they are all very low, even tho i set my ul speed to like 500.

EDIT: now my fake upload speed is way higher than real one. i guess i fixed it? lol i didnt change anything tho. and i noticed that the other torrents WERE fake uploading, lol. why weren't those columns added from the begginning. sorry for wastign alot of your time anon, lol.

omg, i feel so stupid. so i guess it does work XD. the problem was that i didnt know of the "fake" columns, and they weren't there at the start. did i miss where it said to activate them?

so if i can't connect to any peers, is it okay to turn on the seed to 0 peers option? Isn't it really detectabke on tracers like what.cd?

there are peers on the torrent, I just can't connect to them

As long as there are leechers, and they are real leechers (i.e. NOT partial seeders), it's OK to do that. However, be sensible - if there are 2000 seeders and 4 leechers it'll be easy to spot you faking.

When 4.2.0.9 goes stable, a version of the Extreme Mod based on that will be available for everyone.
