IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0409459)

When an ex-superhero is murdered, a vigilante named Rorschach begins an investigation into the murder, which begins to lead to a much more terrifying conclusion

I'll try to refrain from spoiling anything here, so I'll keep it shallow and superficial.

In short: Your home theater is far from worthy, regardless of how many camels you sold to afford it.

It's gritty, it's dark, it's completely politically and ethically incorrect, it's big, it's long, it's blue (pun for ze ladies), and Christ almighty, it's an orgasmic pleasure fest for both eyes and ears. ...Oh yea, and Malin Akerman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0015196) is the best piece of ass to ever be in a superhero flick.

The film itself is a very solid watch, if not a must if you love these types of films.
The dialog is rather awkward at times, but I guess you have to expect that from cartoon to film adaption. It's also rather long at times, and could've easily been cut down some without compromising anything vital to the plot, which itself can be somewhat confusing. Other than that it's a pure and solid piece of cinema which is anything out of the ordinary.

After having watched a modest share of films throughout my wasted youth, I've learned to accept, and appreciate that some of them will try to question our moral and ethical values, if not even push those questions a bit too far over the line. This seems to be a growing phenomena in post-modernistic fiction, so for a story by today's standards, you kinda expect it. However, this story was published in 1986, and holy molly does it make you realize how far ahead of it's time it really was.

Ow, and did I mention how incredibly delicious Malin Akerman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0015196) is?
