For those who are searching for an online service that checks private trackers for open registrations, we don't have to look very far. You're probably already aware of BTracs.com (http://www.btracs.com/) and TrackerChecker.org (http://trackerchecker.org/). While both of these sites adequately provide updated listings, they're about as visually stimulating as a ham sandwich. Introducing OpenTrackers.fr - a brand-new exciting online utility that puts sexy back in finding private trackers that are open for signups.

OpenTrackers.fr (http://www.opentrackers.fr/) is a new startup that launched publicly back in November, and is beginning to show some promise. While the site is natively in French, there's a built-in 'Google Translate' tool that can be accessed from the right sidebar to select various languages.

This is useful to some extent, Anon.

It just doesn't list other sites like....well, you name 'em: SuperTorrents, IpotTVNova, etc...you know what I mean, though??

I see it does list BitSoup. LOL. What an easy site that place is. :D
I never did like the 'queue' system that they have there.

That is probably the dumbest thing that they have there.

Perhaps it's because they haven't opened signups often enough for OT.fr's developers to consider them worth listing.

Karagarga is in their list, though.

Interesting, but not really new....
They also say that Wild-bytes is open while it actually isn't :stupid:

Yes, that's right. I guess their system needs some tweaking - TB appears with a yellow !-sign when it's actually open...

What I've found to be the most useful way of getting into trackers aside from trading is working your way up but being smart on which trackers you start with. Consider bitHDtv PU-->invite section (then choose a site that might have connections )--> XYZ--> they offer invites once u become PU to (bla bla) -->blabla has invites to (ABC) and boom :). It's just a matter of patience and good "seeding techniques" BAD thing if u get caught "seeding"--it could be a domino effect of bans.

Good techniques xadra,I think we share same plans...actually I do that myself recently, and I've got far than I've ever dreamed, only 2 steps ahead to end up my journey :P

but unfortunately these steps get longer and longer the further you've come (at least that's my experience)

And it's very probable that if you got banned from one tracker you'll also be banned from the tracker where you got the invite from.

That's why I don't use such forums... I'd rather stay independent.
