Ein sehr ähnliches (opensource) Programm ist Filezilla.
Davon gibt es sowohl ein kostenloses Client-Programm als auch sogar einen kostenlosen FTP-Server.

Maybe Norton sees the Clients as a backdoor , because....they must be a kind of backdoor to connect with the FTP. Usually it shouldn't be ,because smartFTP is one of the most famous clients.

I guess you use a crack:wink2: (If not sorry) and these are often seen as a backdoore (even if they aren't) because they have the same effect like the original client , but they are not give free by the virus program.
