[Help] Xbox 360 Controller

I was thinking of buying 360 controller for playing games on PC. But at my place Console version of controller is cheaper than the windows version. Will the console version work with PC??The guy at the shop said it should. But i want to confirm if any one has any experience.

If it works I don't want to waste few bucks on windows one.

I tried a normal (console) X360 Pad with cable at my PC and it worked without any problems. :wink:

yes wired controller need only a driver if windows have problems to recognise it right. for the wireless controller you need the microsoft wireless receiver
