cheating on TL.

hello guys..

i wanna try to fake in TL at the first time.
i will use Shu mod..
what is the safety upload speed for that site ?

Never got to try the Shu Mod there before my account died of inactivity, but I can tell you that GreedyTorrent set to report an upload that's a multiplier of my download works wonders there - so perhaps the Ratio Mode also does.

But this was some time ago and they may have changed their scripts, so I strongly recommend you don't rush and wait for feedback from other members.

I recommend you don't limit your download so that your fake upload becomes more "realistic", as you get the data you're supposed to be uploading at a faster rate than you can "upload" it at.

Why not? It should be OK. Just make sure you don't overfake - aim for a ~1.0 ratio.

It's the recommended speed - you can either fake at 90-110kB/s (that's ~350MB/hour) in torrents with enough leechers and stay safe, or experiment with higher speeds but risk getting banned. :wink:

That's how a non-cheater client on an asymmetrical line would behave - download faster that what you can upload, then when done, leave the torrent "seeding" until you reach a ~1.0 ratio.

No... you can fake while it downloads... just make sure that when it's completed you let it fake until it reaches a 1.0 ratio:

You may want to change the first and second values so that your ratio isn't always exactly 1.000 - for example, tone down the minimum and up the maximum a bit, or add extra decimal places.

And that's how a non-cheating user would behave! You can't fake a 100kB/s upload speed right after starting the torrent with your download capped to 10kbs, right?

@kfir: correct; just change the "stop faking when the following ratio is reached" minimum and maximum values so that your ratio isn't always exactly 1.000 - for example, 0.92 and 1.18.

You can set it to anything you know will end up with a ratio close to 1.0, just don't post the values here! Tracker admins visit our board too :wink:

TL been known for awesome speeds for both dl & up,and also high seeders/leechers ratio on newely added files,and that what makes the job easier for you.....let's take an example,the new Call of Duty:World at War had at certain point 3000seeders/1700leechers,never saw that before on trackers as same level as TL,so that's a super awesome torrent to buffer good ratio (3.0~4.0) on,you might ask why the over seed ?! Well,that's not an over seed,in that torrent's case,it's very normal,since if you have a high speed connection with great upload speed & decided to seed back normally,you would have seeded the whole file for like 4/5 times,so that gives ya a ratio of 3.0~4.0....now don't take my words as general speaking,I'm just mentioning & specifying that exact file as it's kinda special case...

Plan wise,prepare reasonable speeds & don't go too wild or you will Rot in the BAN machine...

I agree with Aurion. I love TL just because there are always many leechers, and like he said, if there are about 1000 leechers, I can get with my 120kB/s upload speed ratio to 3.0-4.0 easy. :top:
