JD high cpu usage?

Hi guys, I'm currently using JD 0.3.262
It seems JD always tries to take as much of the CPU usage of possible even when theres no downloading starts. For example, if there's another one application taking 30% cpu, JD will take the rest 70% cpu... when theres no other applications working. JD will take 95%+
Is there anybody experiencing the same problem? any solutions?

Since this a performance question it would be good to know what hardware you're using? :wink:

Also, did you try to update to the latest version (0.3.283)?
