This is a good office suite. Always has been. Always will be.

But I also like Abiword. I used to use that once. It was smaller and so therefore started up quicker than Open Office did.

I have heard a lot of good things about OOo. Maybe it's time to thoroughly try it myself. :smile:

.docx support is specially a good feature. Although I don't know why Office 2007 saves all new files under the .***x extension, even when the special XML features haven't been used: the "normal" one would have been enough and smaller in these cases :confused2:
