Oh, great - new version of this amazing mod is here!!

Thank you morph4u and system28 for this...

I tested it and the default nick issue/bug/feature was resolved in this version - nice, I can now use even the more anonymous "http://emule-project.net" :klatsch_3:

And the server rotation feature looks good too...

I can also confirm I don't have the nick issue anymore. :smile:
And server rotation is a very good feature when you're releasing a file and need to gain as much exposure as possible in the network. :top:

As regarding for the Country-block, we have to type the countries' code/name exactly as the IP2Country feature shows it, right? For example, to block the USA, we'd need to block "US" if "show 2 letters" is ticked, "USA" for "show 3 letters", and "United States" for "show full caption", correct?

If so, I've found two country code lists some may find useful:
"Show 2 letters" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2)
"Show 3 letters" and "Show full caption" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3)

@shoulder

was ist denn genau mit

2 Letter: DE
3 Letter: DEU

gemeint?

ich kann da nur bei country1, country2 usw. etwas eintippen.

anon

@shoulder

was ist denn genau mit

2 Letter: DE
3 Letter: DEU

gemeint?

He meant that you must enter DE if you've set IP2Country to "show 2 letters", and DEU if you've set it to "show 3 letters". For example:

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/5297/countryblockjaq6.gif

Notice IP2C is set to "show 2 letters", that's why I have entered DE in "Country 1". If I had set it to "show 3 letters", I'd have entered DEU.

Sorry if the explanation is a bit confusing :biggrin:

Thx anon. :top:
I explain in german since AFAIK he doesn't understand english.

Du kannst bei IP2Country zwischen verschiedenen Anzeigeeinstellungen wählen.
Je nachdem welche du ausgewählt hast, musst du unter Country Filter bei Country 1, Country 2, ... folgendes eingeben.

Show 2 letters: DE

Show 3 letters: DEU

danke für die hilfe shoulder und anon.:wink:

was macht das denn jetzt eigentlich genau, blockt das alle verbindungen zu deutschen ips?
also kann mich dann kein deutscher mehr erreichten wie z.b. abmahner?

anon

Yes, it blocks all IPs that can be traced to Germany - sometimes IP2C isn't perfect and it thinks spanish IP addresses are from Holland, for example.
It should increase your security, but at the cost of speed, and again, IPs that aren't from Germany or can't be traced to that country can still contact you, no matter where they really come from.
Some people go for blocking the USA, a lot of bad nodes and fake servers come from there...
