View Full Version : PtN affliates with waffles, what.cd and MV
PtN are now official affiliates with waffles, what.cd and MusicVids which means that if you are a Cabin Mate on PtN you can apply for invites to any of the 3 trackers. Similarly if you are a PU at waffles and MV or an ELITE user at what.cd you can apply for a PtN invite.

Yea the reason they wanted an alliance is because those sites offered something unique that could not be offered at PTN. I approve of what they have done.:biggrin:

To become an elite user there you have to upload at least 100 torrents.
The requirements at waffles and MV are 25 gb upload and 1 gb download...
But please keep in mind: If you get an invite e.g. at PTN for Waffles and you get disabled at Waffles you'll also get disabled at PTN.
So be careful :wink:

Its simple as a piece of cake,you just have to dig your way up till you reach a higher rank such as Elite/PU/Cabin Mate !! Anyway,I guess its still a decent offer to be applied by such High level trackers :top:
@Manas: Well,thats a bad news,a member there should carefully watch out for his account not to get banned tho (in case he loves to cheat)
The only site I havent been on is MV hopefully ill be able to get in through PtN..I just hope it isn't like bmtv easy to cheat but their mods look closely at stats.

I think its easy to cheat on any Tracker ones u have the right plan to do so !! Just draw a wise cheating moves so that no one ever would figure out :tongue:

It may be "easy" to get an invite with the correct status on those trackers, but the application to PtN has all the makings of failure. The term megalomaniacal isn't harsh enough to describe their administrator who recruits from these other trackers. I'm still not sure why What and Waffles are allying themselves with this pompous and overzealous fool. It's not their style.
If all three sites had the same administration I could understand--as they would all be run in a similar fashion with similar rules and an over-encompassing standard of wrongdoing. But with different administration on all the sister sites it invites less-than honest admins to change to the way a user experiences bittorrent--rather than the way a user experiences bittorrent on a certain tracker. Corruption is now a huge concern. Who will watch the watchmen?
My guess is that they don't get a good number of people from any of those trackers because of the application process reads like the application to a fortune 500 company. This, along with the threat of having your accounts cascade-banned if you piss off the wrong person on any of the websites is a bit too much to justify joining for me personally. If you really want TV torrents, just search a bit harder and use your power user status to get a BitMeTV invite and forget all this fuss. Anyway... enjoy the reading:

A movie and new TV tracker that is fast becoming one of the more wanted trackers by movie lovers and is a NO RATIO site. It is pirate themed and a lot of fun, boasting one of the more active irc channels and a great membership base of 1,275 and limited at this time to just 2000 slots. All torrents are of high quality, no crap uploads are allowed formats include: xvid, dvdr, x264, hdtv and other quality formats. Releases allowed are both Scene and Non-Scene either way quality rules and NFO's apply.

Here at PtN, we strive to be an active tracker as well as online community, hence we want only active users that will post in forums and download torrents regularly. No room for collectors.

We need to see how well you are doing on your other trackers, whether you have good torrent practices because we want only the best for PtN.
5) How long do you keep your files seeding?
PtN has no ratio, so we like to know how long will you contribute to file seeding for the benefit of the other users.
6) What is your experience level with torrents?
Do you know how to forward and optimize your torrent client? Do you know how to rip, encode, upload torrents?
7. What do you think you can offer PtN ?
Tell us why you would make a welcome addition to PtN. Do you have any other special skills that may interest or be useful to our community.

While one-line answers are allowed, they do not usually impress, so try to be as informative as possible, because spots are limited in PtN, and I will only give spots to applications who impress and show your eagerness to join

LOL you just feel you are being secretly investigated by one of the secret agencies answering all those questions ! I don't know why they make it harder every day on new blood who just want to NJoy getting inside a good tracker :baeh:
