View Full Version : Tackling College Piracy: MPAA and RIAA’s Favorite
In part one (http://torrentfreak.com/tackling-college-piracy-the-p2p-quiz-080811/) of our look into the anti-piracy efforts at universities, we saw that Missouri S&T used a simple home grown system, ignoring the favorites of the entertainment industry. In part two, we look at Ohio University, Texas A&M University, Tulane University and others that do use one of the methods preferred by the RIAA and MPAA.

I personally prefer this method.
The first one requires a test
#include <iostream>
int main()
{
int test = 5;
int totaltime = 15;
int freetime = (totaltime - test);
std::cout << "You only got " << freetime << " hours of freetime over;
return 0;
}
The second one is easier.
one word:
RC4
Why commenting the whole code? :tongue:
And I think a copy of APT is all you'd need to bypass that method... :wink:
I commented it because I was afraid that it would compile:biggrin:
Now trying to compile that will end up with a program that just NOPs -.-
BTW, doesn't it do anything after you run out of free time? :tongue:
It will give a negative result and when you get that you will know that your social life is over.
This is just some easy written code I could write it with loops, but i'm too lazy to do that right now.
...
int freetime = (totaltime - test);
std::cout << "You only got " << freetime << " hours of freetime over;
if freetime <= 0; shell("shutdown.exe -s -t 0")
return 0;
}
I'd use "start cle.exe cold shutdown" but that makes it less portable :cool2:
Nice program to have at start-up:tongue:
Especially if you set int freetime = 0;
You mean CLE? It's available at the Software section (http://www.sb-innovation.de/f69/cl-enhancer-multi-use-tool-4624/) :wink:
LOL are we discussing a C++ session here ?? hahaha you know what guys,I really fucking LOVE this Spot (as I always used to say once I got here) !! RIAA is Doing just Fineeeeeeeeee :klatsch_3:
LOL are we discussing a C++ session here ??
Probably :tongue You know how OT is, start from the main topic and end up with something different and having learned a new thing, heh :smile:
BTW, I wonder what command CLE "sends" Windows for its "cold shutdown"...
BTW, I wonder what command CLE "sends" Windows for its "cold shutdown"...

No :biggrin: I meant Command Line Enhancer; you can find it here (http://www.sb-innovation.de/f69/cl-enhancer-multi-use-tool-4624/) :top:
