AVI zu MP4 Converter

Hi,

Ich suche einen converter mit dem ich filme von avi zu mp4 konvertieren kann (für einen iPod)

allerdings sollte dieser converter die funktion besitzen, oben und unten diese schwarzen streifen einzufügen, damit der film nicht in die länge gezogen wird.

kennt evtl jemand einen solchen converter?

im also interested in finding out what converts avi to mp4, can't seem to find a good appz conversion..there is a lot of good software that convert dvd to mp4 but not avi/xvid/divx to mp4.

Und noch einmal , ein solcher Converter ist Super (http://www.chip.de/downloads/SUPER-2008_17370353.html) . damit kannste auch in MP4 fomat wandeln , aus allem möglichen Material , kannst ein Häckschen bei Strechtchen setzten , kannst es allerdings auch rausnehmen wenn du die Balken haben willst , kannst die Pixelgröße Festlegen und eigentlich alles nur erdenkliche! Ist Freeware aber der ultimative Converter überhaupt!

I have been looking for one of those "free X to Y converters" (there are a lot of these); found no freeware. :frown:
Rayen is completely right, SUPER is awesome and lets you convert to a lot of formats (even .gif for avatars) while having complete control of every aspect of the output video, but it does need to register a handful of codecs (.ax files) for itself, so you could consider it a bit of "bloatware". If you're concerned about this, or don't plan to use it more than a few times and don't have it affect your system, install & run it sandboxed. :top:

as long as it does it's job im fine with it..and my computer is already full of blotware..:biggrin:

Don't think so. I'm a complete noob in video edition. Couldn't even find the option to convert just a segment of the video in SUPER, so I had to viDrop it first to get just the scene I wanted, remove the audio stream, resize it to 320x240 and lower its framerate to 10FPS (ALL this is the majority of the edition process, and I could have achieved it in SUPER if I knew how to use it properly), THEN convert that to a .gif. :klatsch_3:

Here's (http://www.mympxplayer.org/tool-vidrop-v055-avi-xvid-converter-df821.html) viDrop (program I talked about before) in case you need to use it to do the same procedure I did but you're lucky and don't end up with a 7 megabytes gif :biggrin:

Maybe it is ^^
It was meant to convert video for the so called chinese "Mp4 players" based in the rockchip chipset (as you can see in the "profiles" at the top), but by design it's also a general video converting and editing tool :top:
