Hi,

I'm about to shift from XP to Vista Ultimate 64B.
I've been using Protowall for I while and later shifted to PG, which did the job all these years. Only problems seems to be PG still isn't working on Vista 64B :mad2:

Is there anyone who knows of a program like PG that does work on Vista ???

Thanks.

You could try the 64-bit of xp SourceForge.net: Downloading ... (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/peerguardian/pg2-050918-x64.exe?download)

Edit:
Just ever I posted I rememberd that there is a plugin for azureus that uses the same list as PG.
I don't know if you use azureus, but otherwise this could be one of the options.

Safepeer? Most P2P programs have an option to import & use an ipfilter.dat to improve security... if it's just filesharing security you're concerned with you can use Safepeer or uTorrent's ipfilter option.
Otherwise, should Logitech confirm P2PFire works in Vista [edit: it didn't for him :frown:], you can use it. In my english release, both the UI and the driver are 32bit, but an official 64bit version of P2PFire.sys exists and you can download it here (http://downloads.sourceforge.net/p2pfire/P2PFireDriver_1.4.0_beta_x64.zip?modtime=116578723 0&big_mirror=0). Place it in the same folder as p2pfire.exe, replacing the .sys from my pack; that'd make it work on your system I think...

I'll give it a try and let you know it it works. PG doesn't!

Oops, I have just seen Logitech's post in the P2PF thread and it didn't work for him :frown: But maybe it does for you, who knows... just make sure you're using the 64bit version of p2pfire.sys I linked to ;)
