So hallo ersmal!

Da ich eine Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO 2 und ihr vielleicht auch eine habt möchte ich euch folgendes nicht vorenthalten wie ihr von 12Pixelpiplins auf 16 kommt.

Achtung benützen auf eigene Gefahr

Nur für genau diese Karte Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO 2


So geht es: Flash-Programm und Biosmodifikation
Um die Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO? in die Radeon X850 XT zu verwandeln, benötigt ihr das von der Website Techpowerup zur Verfügung gestellte Flash-Programm (http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/100/images/flashrom16p.zip) sowie die passende Biosmodifikation (http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/127/images/Sapphire.X800GTO2_16P.Samsung16.bin) für die GTO?. Und so gehet ihr vor: Erstellen euch eine abgespeckte DOS-Bootdiskette. Wie das für alle Windows-Betriebssysteme geht.

Nachdem ihr die abgespeckte Boot-Diskette erstellt haben, entpacken ihr das Flash-Programm (flashrom16p.zip) auf die Diskette. Ändernt den Dateinamen der Biosmodifikation (Sapphire.X800GTO2_16P.Samsung16.bin) um in X800GTO2.bin und speichern Sie die Binärdatei ebenfalls auf der Diskette. Booten euren PC über die Diskette. Leget mit folgendem Befehl eine Sicherheitskopie des Original-Bios an:
flashrom -s biosalt.bin (Sichrung des alten Bios)
Überschreibt jetzt das Original-Bios durch die Modifikation von Techpowerup mit folgendem Befehl:
flashrom -f -p 0 X800GTO2.bin

Wartet bis der Flash-Vorgang abgeschlossen ist. Nachdem das Flash-Programm seine Erfolgsmeldung ausgibt, entfernen ihr die Diskette aus dem Laufwerk und führt einen Neustart durch. Eure Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO? sollte jetzt mit 16 Pixelpipelines arbeiten. Ob das der Fall ist, können ihr beispielsweise mit dem ATI-Tool überprüfen, indem ihr über "Settings" das Menü "Overclocking" aufruft. Praktisch: Das ATI-Tool könnt ihr auch gleich verwenden, um den Chip- und Speichertakt auf das Niveau des Radeon X850 XT hochzuschrauben.

Hey, das Tool hört sich klasse an.
Ein Kumpel von mir hat die Graka, ich werde ihm das mal vorschlagen.

Der ist nämlich so ein notorischer Overclocker, der probiert das bestimmt aus...

The topic u post in gives u the ability to update your bios of your x800gto^2 so that it has 16 instead of 12 activ pp.
