Seeking information about SCT.

Hello: I recently had someone offer me an invite to SCT.

I declined at first cuz I wasn't really sure if I wanted it. ....too many accounts atm.

I understand that its a high level tracker; however, I'd like to know a little about the site.

1. Whats the content?
2. Is it a bitch to seed on? {like Waffles. FM, is}.
3 In your opinion, is it really worth having an account there?
4. Whatever other information you could think of providing.

1. main focus is 0-day, but there's no TTL
2. No, in fact i find it pretty easy. Ratio system that counts only 75% of what you download makes it even easier.

4. 18700+ torrents, 18800+ registered users, 120.000+ peers active. As you can see there's lots of activity. Forum is active too with great community.
Lots of packs which are freeleech. In fact everything without a pretime registered is freeleech.
About speeds, i dont think you'll find somewhere else better. Pretimes are very fast too.
Site is almost never down (if its down its a surprise), and is always accessible in top speed.

So I gather that the site is basically a general tracker, like TD & TL are. ...just general stuff, yes??

ONe other aspect: What about cheating efforts??
Which mod or tool is usable if cheatable.

Inconsideration of what you've said re: 75% downloaded amount counted toward ratio, and the fact that apparantly its 'easy' to seed on, would cheating then be unnecessary???

I would suggest only Shu.

I personally dont find it necessary to cheat, but i also have good line. I usually dont cheat there, since i dont have the need to. I mostly jump on new torrents (have setted up a good RSS feed which helps too :top: ) and have a huge buffer of 1+ TB.

Here are my two cents about ScT.
ScT was a high level tracker. If you go after content, speed and pretimes it is still a high level tracker but it isn't very rare. Invites can easily be bought... there are thousands of invites floating around....

Now about seeding and leeching. Actually, most people find it very hard to seed there. Over 5000 seedbox users won't give you a chance to upload...
So many people choose to donate instead.

Cheating there is easy if you know how to do it. Use the shu mod and you'll be safe. All other mods aren't secure there. They have good scripts but like many other high speed trackers they have problems with discovering high fake rates :biggrin:


Conclusion: If you're looking for a 0day tracker with one of the best (if not the best) pretimes on earth you'll absolutely be happy with ScT. But if you don't really care about pretimes you could still use TL. But in security aspects TL is still more insecure, anyway, ScT is getting bigger and bigger all the time and therefore also a bit insecure.

The best part on ScT are the packs ... they are enourmous and freeleech.

So you don't even have to cheat a bunch. About speeds Manas is correct, I managed to fake 2 MB upspeed without any problems. That way you build a TB buffer in just a few weeks.

Prétime-speeds are very good, but these aren't freeleech. And retention isn't always the best, as with most 0-day trackers.

I rarely use it anymore nowadays.

yes that is the best part of sct. speed n pretimes n packs. i heard even without seedbox , normal connection will do fine if u know how.:)

am still looking for one. hope to get trade with good members in here.
