SECURITY VENDOR Check Point Software has issued a fix for its Zonealarm personal firewall products that revives Internet connections disabled by a Microsoft security patch released a few days ago.

The patch is applicable for the Zonealarm products Internet Security Suite, Pro, Antivirus, Anti-Spyware and Basic Firewall. It is available for download from Check Point Software's Zonealarm website.

Zonealarm is a very decent Internet Security Package, used to have it installed for a long time 3 years ago but then got rid of it since Kaspersky proved its professional integrity :top:

i am a happy outpost firewall (v4, 2008 version is too bloated) user ^^

anyway the latest ZA update seems to provide you protection from online attacks. and, if you have installed Microsoft's patch, an actual internet connection that could be used to do so xD
