Jesse Alexander, the executive producer of the popular TV-shows ‘Heroes’ and ‘Lost’ and Matt Mason, author of ‘The Pirate’s Dilemma’, are working on a new TV-show about piracy. The show will be based on Matt’s book, and will show how important pirates are for today’s society.

the show looks promising, let's see how it turns to be... but one thing is for sure: it will be pirated, unless they give it away as a free download :biggrin:

"the scene" seems to focus more on the current warez scene, while according torrentfreak the pirate show will also focus on its past and future :cool2:

it may also introduce computer newcomers to what piracy is, how it started and evolved, and how antip2p organizations such as mediadefender tried (read mostly failed :tongue:) to stop it.

its last chapter could even end in a mini-tut in how to use and update an IP range blocker to protect yourself ^^

yea maybe my mom and dad will start using the internet now. and the whole school system will have classes on piracy.and by the time the producers and directors probably realize they made a big mistake make a show on Piracy..

i guess we all have some kind of instinct to go for piracy, or at least free stuff :smile: some people don't even know that you actually have to pay for windows and other software :tongue:

in those cases they actually advanced to the next level..... wanting to make money with bittorrent newbies.

that and those fake bittorrent clients were actually malware that screwed up your computer...
