Hi Leutz,

Ich bin momentan auf der Suche nach ein paar guten Rollenspielen zum zocken.

Deswegen wollt ich euch mal fragen welche Rollenspiele ihr so kennt und empfehlen würdet ^^

if you have windows and like text-mode games have a look at dnd (http://members.tripod.com/~rancourt/default.htm), nethack (http://nethack.org/) and ADOM (http://www.adom.de/), they are my favorites ^^

ePSXe (http://www.epsxe.com/) + pete's plugins (http://www.pbernert.com/html/gpu.htm) is the best combo IMO... works very fast when set-up correctly

you can find emu lists here (they may not be up to date on new versions or which one works with X game):

The Emulator Zone - Playstation Emulators (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/psx/)
Zophar's Domain: Sony Playstation Emulators (http://www.zophar.net/psx.html)
www.aldostools.com - Playstation emulators and PSX Tools by Aldo Vargas (http://www.aldostools.com/psxemus.html)

ganz klar: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion + die Erweiterungen, aber auch ohne die Erweiterungen ist das Spiel genial

i have heard oblivion is a very good rpg, but couldn't run it even using the "very low" gfx preset because of its high requirements :frown:

one reason why i love a xbox 360 or a ps3 no need to think about pc hardware just put your dvd in and play well not on the ps3 sometimes you need to install there

console games have to adapt themselves to the target hardware  for pc games this is reversed so that you'll need to buy a new comp every 2-3 years ^^

perhaps you're more used to how your hardware handles......

or because you can chat/browse and play at the same time!

(windowed mode ftw )

Oblivion hasnt got so high hardware requirements..

Loki, TES4:Oblivion, Jade Empire, Legend:Hand of God, World of Warcraft (Private Server), Spellforce

Oblivion hasnt got so high hardware requirements..

they are high enough to render me unable to play it :frown: i think i should have updated my pc like 2 or 3 years ago

I guess a PC gives you more control of the game you are playing,I mean loads of control since you fully adapt yourself to the game's controllers (keyboard+mouse) easily & in no time,me too preferes PC over my PS2

That also helps when you're learning how to touch-type. It becomes easier since having gamed lets you know where every key is and which one you're pressing without looking at the keyboard :top:

Also die FinalFantasy Reihe ist sehr empfehlenswert und gehört mit zu den besten Spielen die ich je gespielt habe. Ansonsten fand ich Rappelz, Silkroad usw auch immer ganz gut. Ist halt Geschmackssache ;)
