Known Issues:
Client spoofing with plugin to peers is NOT implemented.
Installation:
1. Download and install Azureus 3.0.5.2 (Azureus : Java BitTorrent Client - Download (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php)).
2. Delete the "plugins" folder in %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus).
3. Extract the RAR using WinRAR (WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files (http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)) or equivalent to %PROGRAMFILES%\Azureus (C:\Program Files\Azureus) and overwrite ALL files.
4. Run Azureus and Enjoy!
Troubleshooting:

1. You have updated Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 6 (Java SE Downloads (http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp)).

Normally the SB stands for small bandwidth, but you can improvise for other translations. :biggrin:

I found another bug, when you uncheck "fake report to the tracker" on some torrent file and check it again you cant change fake speed in "speed mode ++":

you must check "use the swarm..." to edit fake speed, but you should do this without "use the swarm" also if you check "swarm" there should be only 1 window with speed not two. Even if values are "grey" fake upload speed is still working and counting ( and thats another bug ) and if you reopen window with torrent again its start default with "general" not last used. I think last rev 202 have a lot less bugs...

Hey Buddy,take it easy !! Actually its messy to post easy-to-solve problems as Bugs,but some times people do really have problem regarding running both the installation & the Mod Hack so they get different errors or lags in Fake Seed Speeds !! I used to have a problem getting the Fake Seed to Work coz I didnt actually understand the Mod enough back then !! Anyway,we must all help each other when facing problems if we really know how to solve them or unless report them as Bugs to Moderators/Coders !!! :top:

sorry :S i had realized that myself, and edited the post where i reported this "bug" but now it's too late :'(
to dont give ddj work that is not needed it would be better if we have a bug report that 2 or 3 user gives a confirmation and try to reproduce the bug.
Indeed DDJ react to fast and fixing everything not only bugs. So better is wait week or month to fix or new verssion neither than have wrong verssion next day. So chill out all and stop spamming about bugs witch you are not sure.
well people can still report bugs but they have to be confirmed from more then one user

Maybe you should all consider that DDJ has a real life too. He fixed all grave bugs in no time and therefore we should all be really thankful.
Fixing gui bugs isn't absolutely necessary. We have a perfect working mod here and DDJ keeps it updated so everything is fine, isn't it? :smile:

My default fake option is Speed mode++

If I changed it to Upload multiplier, It doesnt work perfectly.
I tested in TL( X1.5~2.0)

Maybe DDj should relasing his bulids on closed ( beta ) forum first and people (admins, moderators) will test id and eventualy after fixing bugs DDJ will relase it to the public. Like you do with eMule mod.

I dont agree cause even in "beta period" there could be some bugs that get away
If there was such thing it would be best if there was just an announce if the build has been fully tested. The new build could be open to the public but with the tag that its still beta and its their own risk they take.
Once conrifmed stable the announce will change from beta to stable.
for me also i rather test beta build so that i can put my input on the problems and issues with the clients by giving it here in the forums it will give of all us the opportunity to test it and post new problem that arises

weird... for me azureus has not created any other files outside %programfiles%\azureus and %appdata%\azureus... and those are the ones you have deleted.
maybe your friend is having trouble with the java runtime environment instead? see if you can run any other java apps (JAVA tester (http://javatester.org/version.html)). or completely install the JRE, then reinstall it...
OK, I'll try with java tester and post back the result.
The test says that he has v1.6.0. I figuerd it only shuts down when connected on internet. If ther is no connection opens normaly. One more thing, could be something with Nod 32?

yes, if nod is v2.x IMON could be the cause (as a matter of fact, azureus pops up a warning which reads "imon.dll detected; this has been known to cause trouble with azureus...")... try stopping it (temporarily deactivating it may not be enough), reboot and see if the problem persists
if he's using nod32 v3.0 then disable it (main window -> configuration -> antivirus and antispyware, and "deactivate" everything in the right panel) and see if the same happens. if so, you could boot into safe mode with network support (press f8 as windows boots, then choose that option from the menu that will appear) and check once again if the problem's still there... most surely it won't, in that case it could be any of the comp's startup programs that's colliding with AZ when booting normally... but in this case i'd need more info from you before proceeding :smile:

Well,like the old saying tell us "Don't Give me the Fish,otherwise teach me how to catch it" LOL :biggrin: I guess DDJ Has applied this Old Rule by planning for SB's super Project which is releasing His Own Fake Mod and eventually considering all BUGS you would ever imagine or complain about in the forthcoming future !!! a few more infos could be good does the error come during the start or does it come during azureus is working? i never had such a java error
Hitman if you're refering to me, it crashes after splash screen closes, but only when internet connection is on, which is strange. I erased Nod 32 from disk but nothing changed.
Does this mean anything to you?

according it the problem is with ws2_32.dll (winsock 2 library). get a fresh copy of it from a windows xp cd (use method 2 from this microsoft tutorial (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888017)). could also be a compatibility problem with your network card (as you have mentioned this only happens when your INet connection is enabled). get new drivers for it or use old ones and see if the problem persists.
it could also a faulty AZ plugin but i doubt this... do you have any other plugin installed apart from the ones that come in DDJ's release?
No there is nothing else installed. I'll try it tommorow.
hey guys im a complete noob at this.
I did all the steps listed but it doesnt seem to work. I dont see the fake upload settings in my options or even the fake upload tabs. I have updated my java, and deleted the azureus folders and retried everything. Still no go. Am I suppose to update my azureus first through the automatic update? Also when i extract the .rar I noticed that I am not replacing any of the files since none of the files have the same name. Please help. Thanks!

maybe you are extracting it to the wrong folder (winrar can sometimes do this even if you tell it to extract to THAT folder :frown:) or haven't renamed the Azureus2_3.0.5.2.303.jar file to azureus2.jar...

Du besitzt noch die alte Version. Bitte lade dir den Anhang erneut herunter (Rev1) dort ist der Bug behoben.

I've a general problem with the hack too...
i did everything exactly how ddj described on the frontpage... but even if i delete the azureus2.jar file the "normal" azureus vuze client starts...
you have deleted the original jar file, then copied Azureus2_3.0.5.2.303.jar to the Azureus folder and renamed it to azureus2.jar, right?
try going to tools -> options (or press ctrl+,) if you see the "SB-Innovation Hack" option in the left panel you have successfully installed the hack...
to get rid of vuze go to tools -> options -> interface -> start -> and press the "show" button: the UI chooser will appear, pick classic interface and click OK. the program will ask you to restart and will give you two options: restart now, or later. choose the first one and you're good to go :smile:

Get error with fake upload in speed mode if done when torrent is active. Needs to stop torrent and restart to make changes effective....Great update. Thanks..

Ist dieses plugin eigentlich detectable auf privaten trackern?
Von welchen Plugin sprichst du denn.
Dies hier ist eine komplette Azureus modifikation.
Das Programm ist nicht dectable es funktioniert auf jeder Privaten Seite.
Wenn man mal erwischt wird liegt es an der falschen Handhabung weil man z.b. zu hohe Upload Raten an den Tracker sendet.

Jo klar kannst du das machen. Aber macht nicht besonders viel Sinn, da bei öffentlichen Trackern ja bekanntlich keine Download/Upload Stats gezählt werden. Aber um die Funktionen innerhalb des Programms besser kennen zu lernen ist das natürlich nicht verkehrt.

Sollte reichen, es sei den du hast eine uralte Version von Azureus, dann würde ich eine neu installation empfehlen. Wichtig ist das du die jar Datei die du im Rar Archiv findest in "Azureus2jar" umbenennst, sonst läuft das Ding nicht.

The no upload in this version and revision 1 does not work. I tried, ++mode and ratio mode, and plain old real upload.
Both fake modes did not report even one byte.
Real upload reported as it should.
Original shu mod didn't have this problem with every option selected identically.

Works fine. Reset your Azureus settings and try again.
Did that already, I followed your steps to a "t" and went one step further by using ccleaner then rebooting.
Result was still the same.
Update: After a long time of fiddling around I found that in your mod by default the values for "stop increasing fake upload when you are connected to less than X" was set too high.
Now it is working just fine.

meinst du jetzt die cheat einstellungen? falls ja.......es gibt keine allgemeinen einstellungen man muss immer individuell einstellen nicht jede benutzt den shu gleich.
hier findest du ein tutorial wo die einzelnen einstellungen erklärt werden.

also auf einstellungen gehen und dann links müsste gleich als erstes SB-I Innovation Hack stehen das ist über verbindungen falls es da nicht steht hast du den hack nicht richtig installiert

I've got a question about "Download reduction" option.
If I'm using it, peers I'm downloading from see my reduced % of completion or real % of completion?
i think all that option does it reducing the amount of downloaded bytes that's informed to the tracker by the % you specify...
If so, that's bad thing.
But you're not completely sure about it, right?

according to Shu's explanation this option would show reduced % of completion since you can Fake Seed/Leech & report to trackers !!
Yes, but the question is whether it only shows to the tracker or to the peers also.

I dont think it does report to peers reduced % and here are 2 reasons
1. The Download Reduction option is under from where it says Fake report to TRACKER systems
2. There's a different option for "Fake report to PEERS systems"
3.1.0.0 is out.
Do not expect it to be hacked for another 3 weeks. Exams do not end till the start of July.

they said they completely renamed it to vuze to avoid confusion, yet i think they have only managed to add more :tongue:

why should it be great? first of all the release has to be public but usually they are first for vip user i cant find nothing great to this. nothing that ddj cant do

True, DDJ does a better job at it and does not charge his members for a free app that is modified. Plus Shu's releases are very slow at times missing a few version totally.
I hope DDJ keeps up his great work and stays doing updates for Azureus him self. We have a very good community her and he is very kind as to listen to us all and see what he can do about problems that show up.
PS. I'm sure DDJ will could out with update for 3.1.0.0 soon so just give him time and don't push it guys.

Oh no I'm sure Vuze will be even craper than Azureus Vuze since they plan some social network and more entertaintment stuff, azureus was supposed to be a torrent client and not a software that combines youtube and facebook :/

agree: if you try to make the same program do every time more stuff it will either not do all of them perfectly or not be as stable as if it concentrated in doing one thing and do it well...

I found another bug, if you activate fake upload "speed mode ++" and close tab with it, and open it again theres marked "Stop faking between" even if you dont mark this. Its always enabled. You must manuale un check it.

That's normal. It means the contents of the torrent isn't exactly the same.
You can try force a Re-Check but it doesn't guarantee you won't get corruption or problems. Not really to do with the hack either bleh.

No, it has 56 chars. Tried Force Re-check, didn't work. I never had this problem.
One more thing. Next to the "Exisiting data file lenght too large" it's [1424>1355]
