ich hatte die gelegenheit die mod bereits vor einigen stunden zu benutzen das teil läuft verdammt schnell das ist bis jetzt die wohl beste mod die ich bisher gesehen habe selbst bei voll aktivierten sicherheitseinstellungen ist das teil kaum zu bremsen
folgen speed hatte ich schon nach bereits wenigen minuten :top:
1,6 mb/s an download speed sind selbst für emule verhältnisse schon sehr extrem wie ich finde^^

It mark clients as spammers and block them which send us messages like "fastest emule ever" or "your client is conecting to fast". It's nothing special it works like the like the advanced spam filter in the message preferences.

No Ratio bedeutet das du in dem Mod jede beliebige Uploadrate einstellen kannst ohne das dein Downloadspeed zusammen bricht. In der offiziellen Version ist eben so eine Speere mit eingebaut, so dass die Leute auch Uploaden müssen.
In der offiziellen Version wird sobald du einen Download abgeschlossen hast diese Information an die Server und Clients geschickt so das du bei den Quellen die das File komplett haben mit aufgeführt wirst.
Das don't send complete file status feature unterbindet genau diesen Vorgang und somit wirst du nie mit einem Downloadfortschritt von 100% angezeigt.
Andere Communitys zu faken hatte ich für die nächste Version geplant, da ich dafür ein wenig mehr Zeit brauchen werde und ich die 0.49a heraus bringen wollte, da der Mod bei mir trotz den ganzen leecher features echt gut läuft. Ich hoffe das es bei euch auch der fall ist.
Aber der Applejuice Fake wird warscheinlich nicht hin hauen da die ja für ihr community feature eine 128 bit verschlüsselung verwenden wenn mich nicht alles täuscht...

bei dem don't send complete file status feature, was für ein status wird denn da während des downloads an die anderen clients geschickt, zu wie viel % sehen die mich denn immer?
Dort weden sie deinen normalen Fortschritt sehen wie in der letzten Version. Das feature tritt erst mit abgeschlossenen Download in Kraft aber wenn man dann zusätzlich noch eine NoShare Funktion verwendet sehen dich auch die anderen clients nie mit einem kompletten File.

indeed. finally a mod that offers real security, unlike others that state to be "ZOMG 100% SAFEZ0R!!" just because they have a "don't send filelist to server" checkbox and (community only) 12039781209371bit encryption :klatsch_3:
use this mod and a good, up-to-date ipfilter, and you're like 90% anonymous in the ed2k network :tongue:

nach kurzer testphase kann ich nur gutes über den Mod berichten, er läuft bei Vista Home 32 bit stabil, sehr gute down ergebnisse nette funktionen :smile: hoffentlich tauchen deine Mods nicht wieder auf fremde Boards auf, daher wär es eventuell interessant zu überlegen ob man nicht ne anmelde funktion wie bei den Shareaza Mod von Smasher damals mit einbaun sollte... also so das es auch nur SB- User nützen können.. :wink:

Habe aber einen kleinen Fehler zu melden: Bei mir (Vista SP1 32 Bit) wenn ich auf "Tools" oben drücke einmal, dann öffnet sich ordnungsgemäß das kleine Menü mit den weiteren Optionen. Wenn ich das aber wieder schließe bleibt "Tools" ausgewählt und ich kann es nicht mehr öffnen, dazu muss ich eMule jedes Mal neustarten.

No sorry i didn't seen it until now, but normal i look the hole topic again after feature requests before i start with the next version. What makes that feature, i never heared about it yet? I think i can insert it if its usfull and the code is not to complex that i must change the half program....

I have tested it with Applejuice and a standard eMule client on 2 computers. The Applejuice client was in my download queue but the filename of the file it requested was completely different from what it should have been (for example: music.rar should have been the name but what I saw as requested on the standard eMule was something like 2x53sd.mpg).
If this makes any sense at all to implement is up to you to decide. The Applejuice client has it for example.

ok that sounds interesting the client found the file over the hash but it has a very different name for more security if someone sniff the connections between clients or did i understand something wrong?

this is exactly what happens.
The filename in the upload queue list of the original eMule client is just some mumbo-jumbo. The hash is the same, of course.
But bullshit like this (http://www.gulli.com/img/screenshot-abmahnung.jpg) becomes impossible with this feature.

also butcho, "ask server/kad for more sources" and "source cleanup" (i.e. remove queue full, low id, high qr clients) would be cool to have on the context menu for downloads :smile: but no pressure! :biggrin: you have done a great work in this mod :top:

i think that an origrinal 0.49a feature because i don't remember that i've changed anything for it and it's not implemented in my old release. Or i've produced a bug which works like a feature... :biggrin:

the Applejuice community is encrypted. Nobody was able to fake it yet. The main problem is that the Applejuice community credits information is saved on the computers of other people who use community enabled clients. So even if someone was able to identify a client as Applejuice client it would not help at all.

There are plenty of other mods which have the AJ community, by the way. You just have to ask Ekliptor as it seems if you want to implement it.

But i think ekliptor don't give this feature for a bad leecher, because the other community clients don't get much upload rates from our sbi mod.

the "browser" tab spam can't be turned off though, and even if you hide its button from the toolbar, AJ defaults to show the browser on start-up. moreover, that loads IE's rendering engine, which will use more RAM... :confused2:

if you have cleartype font smoothing enabled, it won't apply for the "server info" tab:

and emulebt has unlimited server connect (you could connect to ALL your server list at the same time) :eek13: of course this generates A LOT of overhead and it's hammering for the servers...
(i'm not against dual-connect, would like to see it in the mod.. just making a comment :smile:)

I think server rotation causes more strain on the servers compared to dual server connect if used unreasonably. If implemented there should be a limit on how low you can set the time between rotations.

I think the most of these functions are no problem i will look what i can do. but i think i'll get problems with the "filename obfuscation" feature. But perhaps one official modder insert this in his next mod and than i can look in his code how i can handle this.

yeah, the tools button doesn't have anything you can't easily access otherwise (well, maybe the import PARTs wizard :tongue:)
maybe you could add that bug to a "known bugs" list in your post so that people won't ask about it over again... :smile:
edit: you can use the "customize toolbar" context-menu option to remove the tools button, then re-add it: it becomes clickable again...

Der hilft mir immer wenn ich mal Probleme habe ein Feature einzubauen oder beim Fehler beseitigen falls Errors bzw. Warnungen beim compelieren erzeugt werden.
Er ist echt fit in Sachen eMule und vorallem in c++ so das er mir echt eine grosse Hilfe ist.

Yes we've a testing area in our private section, but there are to many peoples which have time to test a new version very long so sometimes we found not all little bugs before we release the program in public...

Which reask time you mean exactly? For server updates or?
I want change that values in my new version that my client ask faster after all source updates (server&client) and so on. I think about to craete a admin menue where everybody can change this values like he wants, but i'm not sure if it is usefull because i'm sure that many users will insert wrong (dectable) settings and then the mod don't work as it should...

How do I fake rank using this client. There's an option to fake rank but nothing happens even when I check it. My queue rank is still huge.
I'm new with emule. Does faking rank even help?
it fakes the rank sent to other users from you when "full queue" would have been sent instead (for example, no upload turned on, or your upload queue is actually full)
nothing to do with the queue rank you get from others when downloading a file...
and even if it did, remember it's fake rank :wink:
Where did you check your queue rank. Normal you see it only in other clients.
This fake rank works careful so it's possible that you have a huge ranking after you've started emule but not for long... ;)
But it's a new feature in the SBI mod so i haven't much time to test it. But our first tests after we've insert it looked good so i think all should work correctly...
I understand a bit now, I think. As I said I'm new with emule and the huge queues are a bit of a bummer. Even when there are 70 peers for a file, the rank is something like 1500. I mean the rank sent by other clients.
That was at the beginning, I'd just started the client. I'll persist with it and see if anything happens.

Also bei Emulefuture versuchen die Modder das auch rauszubekommen damit sie die Mods detecten können für ihre Antileecher Features. Einer meinte die Applejuice Mods erkennen sich an den letzten beiden Bits von irgendwas. Leider hab ich null Ahnung was gemeint ist.
Vielleicht kann ja Butcho oder einer der andren was damit anfangen.

Ich nutze die Mod zwar schon und bisher kann ich, ausser bei Overhead Packets, keinerlei Uploads erkennen aber unsicher bin ich eben doch. Ich kenne die ganzen Möglichkeiten nur unzureichend und Ärger hatte ich auch schon.

well, with all security options turned on, people you are downloading from can still know what you're getting and possibly your ip, if they're using a network monitor to specifically harvest ips (in that case they would hhave got yours regardless of which mod you're using). but nothing else :biggrin:

So if I understand you right the only ones who can track you are the ones you are downloading from. Doesn't this mean they can't be authorities since they would have to distribute the file in order to get your ip?

now, if they started hosting fake files with hundreds of complete sources (which will never start downloading) and you tried to get one of them, they would know that your ip asked for them... nothing too important because as this kind of fakes will never download, you wouldn't be doing anything wrong [this is the kind of things mediadefender/"net2ez" has done to the ares network :mad2:]. just be aware of this :wink:
using a trustworthy server list like gruk.org's there are less chances things like that will happen... tell emule to update its server list ("server" screen) from:

Wenn ich alle Optionen an habe, dann können nur die Leute sehen sehen was ich laden, bei denen ich in der warteschlange bin oder von denen ich laden, ist das so richtig? Wenn ich gerade dabei bin ein file zu laden, können mich dann auch die leute sehen, wenn sie mein file suchen, also in der anzeige bei der suche?
Sie können dich nicht durch die Suchfunktion finden weil du keine Dateiliste an die Server schickst. Sehen können sie dich sobald du bei ihnen nach Download fragst und da durch in ihre upload warteschlangen kommst.
dann besteht ja trotz allem noch ne chance entdeckt zu werden. Schauen die Fahnder denn in ihre Uploadlisten? Aber da meistens ja test downloads durchgeführt werden und wir ja keinen Up geben :)...

Hi, Erstmal großen Lob an den macher dieses leecher, der ist einfach geil, verbindet sich schnell und hat eine gute Geschwindigkeit, einfach genial, was mich stört aber das nicht nur diesen leecher sondern alle leecher die ich bis jetzt ausprobiert habe ist, wenn man große dateien runterladen will, er sich einfach kaum verbindet, ich weiß nicht woran das liegen tut, bei leecher aber bist 1000mb richtig klasse, aber alles was drüber ist, kaum verbindung hat, vielleicht kann mir jemand, was dazu schreiben, ob ich falsche einstellungen habe oder ich weiß nicht. Also mein hartlimit habe ich auf 1000 und verbindung auf 500. Und unter erweitert habe ich pro 5 sekunden 40 und halboffene 49. Villeicht hat jemand die gleiche erfahrung gemacht und kann sie mit mir teilen, oder hat eine lösung für große dateien. Für jeden vorrschlag bin ich dankbar....
die groben einstellungen sind eigentlich ok. das mit den grösseren dateien kann ich nicht bestätigen hab schon einige grössere linux pakete gezogen die viele verbindungen hatten ist vielleicht datei bedingt

ja ich weiß auch nicht, lade gerne dvd,s runter und da habe ich einfach schlechte erfahrung gemacht, das er sich kaum verbindet, und wenn er sich verbindet dann mit geringer geschwindigkeit, keine ahnung wieso..

* you will not upload anything (= you'll receive no credits)
* you will not share any files
* kad clients will think you have nothing to share = less connections
* the server will think you have nothing to share = less connections
* ("don't send complete file status" only applies if "no upload" is deactivated) if someone needs a chunk you're hiding because of this option, that's another connection you won't receive
despite all these factors this emule is very fast to be a 0-up mod :top:

* "block spammer clients" bans clients that send you spam through messages (like "download emule *** fastest emule ever", "emulemasrapido", etc.)

i don't think it can speed up your downloads but if it's detected other clients can ban you = bad :frown:
also if client emulation emulates shareaza or edonkey for example, some mods won't up to you because those apps don't have a creditsystem

Es kommt auf deine Leitung und deinen Router an. Nicht jeder Router kann viele Verbindungen vertragen. Pro 5 sek. 20 Verbindungen und Halboffene 9.
Damit hab ich den meisten Speed, warum auch immer.Deine Einstellungen verkraftet kein Router ohne Probleme.
Nimm mal meine.

I work on it nearly every day, but nor for long because i don't have much free time that days.
Until now the new version works very good like the last ones and has some nice usefull new features. I hope that i can release it in 2 weeks....

if you enable fakerank it could help you connect faster because some mods give you a QR boost if (they think) they'll receive something from you soon... which is what FR tells them :wink:

dual-server connect may be added in the future, but connecting to more than 2 servers at the same time just increases their load and overhead traffic while offering no real advantage.
in the meantime, if you need to gather sources for your downloads, you can rotate servers manually :smile: auto server rotation may also be implemented later...

I think that severs are offline now because they are not in a actual server.met file...
i use gruk.org's; just updated it and now i can connect to RB 3.1 and 3.2 but 3.0 is still dead... and you get no response when pinging it :/

i think it's the best there is... except i wish you could add this one more feature of allowing uploads only to people in the friends list or only those who 'Establish Friend Slot'.
or you could also add something like 'Ban All Users Except" to the 'Uploading' right click menu (if that's possible).
right now, i'm just banning each user one by one as they show up in the uploading area except for my friend which means i have to constantly check emule while i'm doing something else. it's getting really tedious.
i would really appreciate it if you could add this feature.

hab bei meinem modem die ports manuell freigegeben und software firewall verwend ich keine
Deaktiviere mal die Firewall komplett und versuchs dann erneut, so könnte man das dann schon mal ausschließen wenn´s immer noch nicht klappt.
