If you're serious, it's possible to apply for an invite via e-mail if you can show proof of having upload-worthy material. This creates a sort of credentials paradox situation since they don't tell you what is considered thus, but tracker reviews are readily available.

It's not that hard. You just have to upload 50 torrents (means 25 albums FLAC+MP3. You can re-encode FLACs with CUETools (http://cue.tools/wiki/CUETools_Download).) and make 100 GB upload (can take some time, about couple months).

Unfortunately they treat their users like shit, confident that they will just cope since none of the sites they run have any true alternatives (which is correct). Keep that in mind if/when you manage to join.

Easiest route I believe is RED->DiC->GPW
DiC is a fairly easy grind, if you're already PU/Elite on RED, you can just cross-post your torrents from RED to DiC using GazelleSync or something similar.

Mam however is very easy to level up on and is very beginner friendly and should be the tracker most new people should go to.
So if you can handle OPS go there.
Otherwise Mam is just better in so many ways

The way I know is either going Myanonamouse - Brokenstones - Gazellegames or Myanonamouse - Secret Cinema - Gazellegames
Brokenstones will end up requiring a seedbox and possibly making uploads... Secret cinema will require longtime seeding and talking in forums and stuff. A lot of stuff so seedbox will help although it's not necessary.

All but MAM are useless when it comes to climbing the ladder; FL does have some recruitment threads, but you won't care about them by the time you gain access. You can start by getting on RED and upload-whoring your way to the invite forum with that gigabit line :smilie4:

Redacted is just bad for an average person. Too much effort to get somewhere a few weeks faster.
The amount of people that would bother with red if they knew they could get into their fav tracker from other trackers as well is very low XD

I think removing the invite forum from RED altogether would be highly beneficial to them, but that's a different matter...
that's why I'm asking cuz I hate RED I've also Orpheus ACC but I don't know anything about their recruitment form what trackers they provide invites for? so if it helps me I'll work on it I wanna anyway to get into the trackers that I mention without uploading porn :D

They do, but the offers are mediocre at best, and since the forum itself is dead, good luck trying to reach them in the first place.

I would be interested in knowing what the all mighty RED recruitment forum looks like. I'm not trying to get into anywhere right now, but seeing screenshots of all these forums people are fighting for access to, it doesn't seem worth it. I'm gathering most trackers that want to recruit are doing so across the board and rather actively. Those that are closed (or near impossible to get) aren't even in the really tough user class forums. I'd assume if they were, they would all want something crazy such as 1 year active account and 4TB upload. Sorry.. Ain't nobody got time for that...
I wonder if the RED game is actually the promise land people speaks of, or just another smoke and mirrors forum.
I'm on one invite forum that took me a month of hard work to get into, it gave nothing. Then MAM I got after just three or four days, it has been just as good if not better.

Then I suggest forgetting about this and simply enjoying the places you are a member of for two reasons.
"Surfing for trackers" and keeping up with BT politics takes away time from potentially more productive/meaningful/fun things. I would know: I once made it my life's mission to obtain an account at Wherefore.me and succeeded, only to discover how tremendously disappointing it was. (I just "declassified" my review thread so that you can see why it ceased to exist some months later and is likely remembered by no one else now; click on 22850.)
Even if you change your stance in the future (which is fine), whatever information or access you obtain now may not stay current. Recruitment threads alter their availability and/or location fairly frequently, which is one of the reasons this thread is so active.

I've been active on several trackers for nearly two whole years now. Since I started my private tracker journey, I've been conscious about leveling up several accounts in the chance that I'll have the opportunity to apply for BTN, PTP, HDBits or MusicVids.
The one tracker I went hard out for was TheGeeks, as to me that was what I desperately wanted to get onto.

After a long journey of the staff member requesting more and more stupid requirements over approximately 12 months, I finally got in.
I got banned within 48hrs because they thought I was cheating, I had two Seedboxes running at the same time and one of the boxes gave uploads to the second box due to my ignorance as I added the FL torrents to the boxes at the same time.
I responded professionally and acknowledged what I did by mistake and requested that my stats be reset or even penalize my account in some way to make up for the mistake, but there was no other option from them besides having my account banned.
I was truly devastated, as I worked very hard to meet their absurd changing requirements as well as it being a tracker that I saw myself excitingly getting involved with in the community.
Also, when I had a problem with my torrents one time on The Empire, they immediately jumped to the conclusion and said we believe you're trying to cheat and that if you continue to use qBittorrent we will ban your account.
I've never cheated on a tracker.

Honestly, probably none that will help me find an application. My previous path was supposed to be RED>BIB>PTP, as I believe PTP recruits from BIB, with a two year old account being necessary to apply for PTP. To my memory, they changed the requirements on from Elite to the next rank on RED, which deterred me from that route.
I'm apart of 30+ private trackers all categorized to their fields, not joining or leaving all trackers that have no value of content to me.
In the past two years, I've invested most of my time around private trackers.(I do enjoy organizing and collecting content that's relevant to myself) I've got about 40TB on my PC and another 100TB on my Google Drive.
I had a bit more money in my first year of my private tracker journey, where I was able to afford several small sized, but very fast seedboxes to help get my stats up to comfortable point for each tracker.
For example, when I joined TL, I got my account to 10TB UL fairly quickly to reach a particular rank(as my eight year-old IPT account wouldn't get me far, knowing that IPT was disliked amongst the tracker world), when I joined CGPeers, I got to 20TB UL in 30 days just because I knew it'd be good for a proof in the early days. I had notepads of what the user rank requirements for each tracker required, with the benefits listed. I highlighted rankings that involved benefits such as no automatic pruning as well as access to the invite forum.
The amount of money I spent on seedboxes + an ongoing Google Enterprise membership totals to be $1000+ from the first year.
I don't see buying an invite or cheating to perk my stats as an option, due to the fear of losing one of my accounts.
Also, I don't bring up my want for particular trackers on the trackers that I spend time on, as I don't want like the idea of being perceived as a user who's trying to hunt down an invite from a user. As much as I want to get on these trackers for their content, I actually value a good personality from a user more, so I don't want any of the people that I enjoy talking to to think that I'm trying to manipulate them.

just let you know bib is not recruiting in red elite class. not sure about higher class. I have not intention to get up higher.

Running a quick check of both IPs involved would have revealed their belonging to datacenters and given you the benefit of doubt, but well, I guess they found it easier and faster not to.
Staff on The*.click trackers seem too trigger-happy. Tales of people getting banned due to alleged cheating, or use of anonymizers and mobile Internet, or simply no reason besides "breaking the rules", are sadly abundant. Of course, in most cases we only hear one side of the story, but I think there's no way 100% of them are lying in an attempt to get their account back.

I've got about 40TB on my PC and another 100TB on my Google Drive.
Little bit of advice here. Make sure to keep backups or at least a full list of everything that makes up those 100 TB. Google is known to lock "suspicious" accounts on a whim and even paid memberships aren't immune.

I leveled up the one account I have because it was preexisting. This concept of joining a tracker, leveling up, and then having to wait, seems like complete nonsense. I get the point... It is done to eliminate cheaters. Think about the overall flaws. For example, a user already is a member of OPS, but is told the tracker he wants is recruiting on RED. He has no need for a RED account. So, they level up at RED, and then practically abandon the account for 6 months, because everything on RED gets transferred to OPS (if requested), and the tracker they want won't take them until the age of their account matures to a specific level. At that point... recruitment might be gone.
I would assume there are more users of what I described than there are cheaters.

If you talk to BTN people they always say recruitment is on RED. Last time BTN did any recruitment was a bit over a year ago. The recruitment lasted a matter of hours. Even then... it was mostly done via user invites. Maybe some long term RED use can confirm when the last time they actually recruited there was. Aside from that I have heard of no recruitment on TV trackers - TVV, MTV, NEB. You would think if BTN wanted anyone it would be those of high user classes at other TV trackers.
As others have said... PTP seems to be closed up at this point. I hear users of high classes can invite, but no one is willing to risk their account.
At one point I wanted in HDBits too. I was told I could get in easily, but I needed to prove to staff that I am an encoder of sorts. I'm not about to get that involved.

Hard? Get a good seedbox. Autosnatch your way to the traffic requirement, then chain-upload WEB rips to meet the uploaded torrents threshold. You can skip the first half if you do a lot of the second, and I'd actually recommend going for at least thrice the amount required, so that inactive torrents don't get deleted and pull you back below Power User. All of it can be scripted in either case. And a good RED ratio proof will, in turn, make it easier to open further doors.

Rampant seedbox abuse is a far worse problem than cheating, itself way less frequent and impactful than in the past, as the inflation in home connection speeds surpasses that of torrent sizes... but hey, welcome to the world of tomorrow. The nicest part is that if you criticize this model in any way, you will be told to accept it because their site = their rules (true), you aren't entitled to an account (also true), and you don't know anything about running a tracker securely anyway (read https://old.reddit.com/4ltpcj and cry). Of course, when you factor the amount of data trackers log and retain about you, it's clear the only security staff care about is their own; on PTP they're even known to read others' private messages on the quest for catching "bad users". It's all good, though, as long as things happen to someone else and we can keep getting those moviez :naughty:

Indirect donation signups (transfer enough money to donate and get the one-time gift of two invites to a existing member) are also possible. I'd expect unsolicited offers of this nature to be rejected approximately 100% of the time - just not worth it, the prohibition on inviting strangers is strictly enforced, on top of the risks involved with handling money from said strangers - but if you have a trusted friend who is already in, it's a possible third way. Though I should note I don't know how acceptable it actually is within the community.

Autosnatchers guarantee a 1:1 ratio on uploads - as long as those albums are from the current year. Anything older, you'll have to permaseed and hope it gets grabbed at some point. Also, check the request section every day, because some people are lazy and don't even bother doing a quick search. You can fill many of those by transcoding a torrent or DDL from elsewhere, or even uploading as-is. It's pocket money, but it all adds up.
There are "dark side" tactics like freeleech token abuse and FLAC compression level 0/trailing data, but in my opinion OPS does not deserve that. Just do your best and you'll get there eventually.

Autosnatchers guarantee a 1:1 ratio on uploads - as long as those albums are from the current year. Anything older, you'll have to permaseed and hope it gets grabbed at some point. Also, check the request section every day, because some people are lazy and don't even bother doing a quick search. You can fill many of those by transcoding a torrent or DDL from elsewhere, or even uploading as-is. It's pocket money, but it all adds up.
There doesnt seem to be anyone autosnatching. The albums I uploaded were new releases in Feb 2022. I'll try out filling requests.

Running a quick check of both IPs involved would have revealed their belonging to datacenters and given you the benefit of doubt, but well, I guess they found it easier and faster not to.
Staff on The*.click trackers seem too trigger-happy. Tales of people getting banned due to alleged cheating, or use of anonymizers and mobile Internet, or simply no reason besides "breaking the rules", are sadly abundant. Of course, in most cases we only hear one side of the story, but I think there's no way 100% of them are lying in an attempt to get their account back.
Little bit of advice here. Make sure to keep backups or at least a full list of everything that makes up those 100 TB. Google is known to lock "suspicious" accounts on a whim and even paid memberships aren't immune.

GGn have stopped open recruitment from users that you don't know personally, which would make it more difficult for you to get your invite.
EMP I believe is recruiting from a few places, if you aren't available to get yourself an application review then you likely haven't been around long.

I've got some friends who have ridiculous storage on Google Drive and have never had an issue.
This was on the news here a few years ago. A local engineer lost 5 TB of pictures and sensitive documents due to an alleged TOS violation, even though he was paying $99 a month for the storage, and making an offline retreat at the time the event supposedly took place. Google refused to reenable the account or even give any details whatsoever.

This is a risk on any scenario where your data is only stored on a foreign system you don't own or directly control, of course, but I've never had it happen anywhere else so far. In my case it was more of an annoyance as I didn't lose anything too valuable, but still... keep local backups or at least a list of what you're prepared to lose.

If you want to surf forums looking for cool invites you didn't know you "needed", I recommend not wasting your time.

Actually, for this sort of content I would have to recommend BitSpyder, MAM and Z-Library as more approachable alternatives... the last one is not a tracker, just a very good source.

Quickest way to GazelleGames is through RED. You need to be PU+ and 3+ months old. You can go to GGn through Orpheus in 3 months too but I would suggest putting all the work in RED, no need to level up in all places. Orpheus has a much inferior invite forum than RED.
I'm not 100% percent sure of the quickest way to BHD, but everywhere I see 6+ months old requirement. Meaning the fastest route is through RED. You need to power up to elite rank though. If you can afford to wait 3 months, then go through GGn, leveling up there is much easier.
Quickest way to AnimeBytes is RED>GGn>AB. You need 3 months old RED account to join GGn, then join AB in another 3 months from GGn. You have to level up to elite there, which will also take care of the requirement of BHD if you decide to join through GGn.
Requirements of AnimeBytes, BeyondHd and GazelleGames on RED are:

I must say that after you get invited to the trackers you want to be on it gets really boring. The chase is way more fun that the end goal.
The "chase" in my experience hasn't been fun at all.
Anything that I've done tracker-related that has been for the purpose of getting into another tracker, has been the equivalent to a working job.
There was a TV Show series on BTN that I couldn't find anywhere else, I only knew it was on BTN because a user from a channel posted a snapshot of it when I asked if someone knew where it was located.
Six months later, I bring up a question regarding requests on a Movie/TV tracker and briefly explain the torrent that I wanted was on BTN. A user happily grabbed them for me and re-uploaded to the tracker I had access to.
Personally, I don't like the feeling of not being able to do something myself, and in that circumstance, it was getting a torrent for my brother that had been on my list for 12 months.

If it makes any difference, I avoided having my information stored in alternative locations by Google or accepted/agreed to any digital agreements which increased the visibility of my stored content.

Sounds like something GGn's FAQ and wiki could answer, but for the record, all trackers have that. Ordinarily account age and total traffic in both directions will never decrease, making promotions based solely on those a one-way path (unless the thresholds ever change), but everything else can pull you down as well as up.
If you want to keep a certain status, I suggest uploading at least thrice the minimum amount of torrents required to reach it.
Hello everyone, new here, but not new to the torrent world, I have been torrenting on and off for more than 14 years now. I want to get back so I would like to know if there is a shorter faster way to get myself into high level trackers rather than doing interviews, maybe a safe place to buy an invite or something, I'm interested mostly in BHD because of their remux group.
I tried RED interview and its a shit process, they expect a grown man to stare at a boring blank irc screen 24/7, they expect you to be available for their shit interview at any time. If you are having a lunch, have a job, or in the bathroom, and missed the interview, then tough luck, you have to go back to the end of the line. I have waited for week there, I felt disgusted and like a slave. They tell you they are "volunteering" as an excuse for their dead irc channel. Last time I checked volunteering means you do a job for free, it doesn't mean sit on your ass and do it when you feel like it, if you don't have the time don't volunteer then.

First of all, define "high level trackers". The BTN-PTP-HDBits trifecta is basically off limits unless you're willing to invest far more effort than is warranted... but that's okay, because you can still find movies and TV elsewhere, so let them have their little paradise. You did mention BHD, which last time I checked was relatively easy to join, if harder than in the past. Just read the last few pages of this thread to know where they're recruiting and the specific requirements, then build a plan.
I strongly advice against buying invites. Even if don't care about politics or "never pay for P2P" and see it as an investment, it's a risky one. You have to trust (read: hope) that your inviter and everyone else they've sold to will never get caught anywhere ever, or else you go down with them. And staff are highly motivated to see that happen.
Anyway, if you're completely green and want to play this game, you'll have to do an interview at some point. Trackers which have open signups or are easy to get invited to don't make a pathway to better ones, and in many cases aren't even acceptable as ratio proofs. The good news is that MAM is famous for the low difficulty of their interview and friendliness of their staff, i.e. the opposite of what you saw on RED, and therefore makes an excellent starting point. You'll also have to download and upload things you don't care about to some extent, compete with seedboxes doing the very same, or even get a seedbox yourself just to meet recruitment thresholds. No one's fault (or at least not yours), just the sorry state of affairs these days. Do your best to reach the candy :happy:

Well, your general tracker needs are basically covered forever. TL is likely the most resilient private tracker out there... 18 years and they haven't even had to change their domain... in contrast, Wheelmods was impossible to join and yet shut down because someone told the cops their pirated DVDs on sale had been downloaded from it? Anyway, I might possibly suggest adding IPT to your list because it's easy to find and then you'd have the Big 3, but it's hardly a high priority task.
As regarding for HD, BLU is nicer than most say and so is HD-T, though in the latter case I recommend having some $10 bills ready, as they'll be your get-out-of-jail-free card if you make mistakes like being too inactive or posting in the forums. Should you by any chance have evidence of your old HDBits membership (the original invite e-mail would be best), you may be able to recover your account depending on whether it still exists, how much time has passed and how nice staff are feeling that day. In which case you'd get your hands on a highly respectable source at nearly zero effort, but that's a lot of ifs.

All What.cd's fault for dying, nya. Other trackers went into panic, and ultimately decided they were happy with the current state of affairs because more people = more problems. And I think the way they pulled that 180 on the community and policies that helped them grow in the first place is despicable. However, I'm also of the opinion that staff are free to run their places the way they see fit, and ultimately don't owe us anything. Yes, back in the day, open signups were a thing, global bans were rare and you could both give and receive user invites without fear of earning one, and posting on tracker forums didn't paint a target on your forehead either... it's hard to not miss that... but that was then and this is now.

The concept of invite interviews is actually great, as long as you don't see it as a "free invite". It lets you get your foot on the door without knowing anyone, just in exchange for displaying genuine interest on the tracker and putting in some effort (yes, you may not ever use the information you're quizzed on and could cheat, but I can't think of a better way to gauge interest and effort through a computer screen). It just happens to be poorly implemented on RED due to the high demand. Huge queues, long waiting times, hectic schedules - to the point that setting a highlight alarm and sleeping next to your computer is considered reasonable and desirable - and apparently little incentive for potential interviewers to volunteer or staff to "hire" new ones.
Conversely, MAM's interview is a short Q&A session held twice a week, where most questions aren't even tracker-specific and their answers will be common knowledge to you.

Right now it is just like playing cat and mouse, collecting trackers you don't like or need, jumping from one to another, wasting upload traffic and time, and then maybe maybe you can apply for the tracker you desire.
This turned it into a job, it is not fun anymore, and it is not open as it used to before. Openness is what made people like torrenting, now it is a hierarchy and a road map, the total opposite of what it should be. And don't get me started on the mods and the stuff that control who walks that road map.
Security is not a valid excuse, like you said if TL can do it for 16 years, then everybody can do it.

This is a process I really don't find productive either. The truth is.. I think there are more ladder climbers out there than there are tracker collectors. There is really no value in collecting anymore, as most uploads end up being cross seeded among all different trackers. So many people still have accounts they only use to look at recruitment forums. Seems like there should be one massive recruitment forum in the community, set perimeters on how users can access it, and establish what levels of tracker recruitment they can see. Then again.. As much as they say the interview processes are there to create a better member base, it isn't true. Just because I can read a bunch of information on a website and feed it back to people in an IRC channel doesn't mean I understand the information. I see tracker interviews similar to applying for a job. How much are you willing to be rejected or pushed aside to get to your goal? If I make you wait at my call for a week straight, it shows how much you really value becoming a member, compared to the guy who is going to give up a few hours in. The person who waited a week is going to be less likely to abandon their account, as they know how tough the road back in will become. Look at PTP for example.. I heard it is days wait in their disabled channel.
It isn't open anymore because of how well recognized everything has become. In 2003, I used to be able to hop on Suprnova and grab most things I would need, followed years later by Mininova, Demonoid, and the torrent search sites (Kickass and ISO). I didn't start seeing any need for private trackers until a good 6 or 7 years later. Now we need them. It is mostly about security, but it is also about retention. With a mass member base on public trackers, and no system of consequences, more obscure content has low seeding times.

That is not the solution. Every tracker should have its own recruitment application on its own site. They should ask for speed test, ratio proofs, and accounts lengths. Maybe throw in a timed MCQ test to make sure the candidate has an understanding of the rules and torrents in general. Once you pass the test and your application was reviewed and accepted, you get your invite based on first in first out basis. To minimize the number of submitted applications and stress on the stuff, maybe allow first 100 applications or whatever each month and then close recruitment for the remainder of the month.
This will save time for the applicant instead of waiting like a slave for weeks in RED IRC channel and jumping like a clown from one private invite forum to another.
As for security, no sorry I don't buy this excuse. Those trackers have tens of thousands of users, any semi competent anti piracy group can enter any tracker they like, there is no way some teenage nerds on an IRC channel will stop them or provide any protection, this is fantasy lol. I know someone who sell invites for HDBits for $300 lol, this is BitTorrent, there is no security and never will. Any DMCA trolls, if they want to, can enter any private tracker and start recording IPs and issuing DMCA threats via ISPs.
All those trackers can do for security, is enforcing Crypto for donations, and this is what most trackers do now. Also hope the anti piracy groups continue sleeping with their slow bureaucratic procedures and lack of will to pursue such tasks. Pursuing public torrent and ddl sites with millions of users is more cost effective and efficient than wasting money on small private sites.
Retention and quality of members were never a problem in any respectable site, this is also funny excuse besides security. TL and FL were strong in 2006 and still strong in 2022, even infamous IPT doesn't suffer from that.

One thing I forgot to mention is that sysop Brandon, who once asked his own staff to disable his account in order to focus on college, apparently either forgot or disregarded the dangers of being the only person with the keys to the server and backups. TorrentFreak: I never paid attention to the comment section on TF, since they rarely wrote about private trackers (but one of those exceptions was how I got into BitGamer). However, FSF's was pure bologna, especially on articles about "bad" stuff like trading, cheating and country bans. Sharky must have been a marketing major, because he was able to sell anything as the next big thing; see 21243 for an instance of him failing hard and promoting a "free seedbox company" caught fishing for passkeys and credit card details (Chrome or UnMHT addon for Firefox required).
DVDRip.XviD: ugh, the scene took far longer than they should have to stop using this codec. But at least we had movies that fit on a single CD. You may also remember group ARROW's near-monopoly on DVDR releases which somehow existed despite no one caring about them(?).

All trackers with a public application form ask for evidence of membership and good ratios elsewhere, in addition to several other details, and have different thresholds for admission.

As I see it, this system would create a credentials paradox situation here: the bar would be fairly high due to "security" (see below), those without good proofs could never join, and those who cannot join would never be able to procure good proofs. In the current recruitment scheme, the ability to access the offers in the first place serves as said proof and is self-validating (i.e. there's no need to cross-check "foreign" profile links). Centralization would highly improve two things: 1. reducing the delay in reviewing applicants, because some recruiters literally take months to answer, and have been known to lash back if you reapply through another potentially faster one; 2. not having to chase potentially mobile and/or volatile recruitment threads whose location you don't even know in the first place! Then staff wonder why people trade or buy invites... supply and demand, that's it.
Summary: the whole thing is crazy but highly unlikely to change.

Security didn't stop PTP from opening signups around the time that Wolverine workprint was leaked, or continuing to recruit on T-I for several years, but staff are always right.
TL even had banner ads at some point, which while annoying, means they'd found an advertiser willing to place them on a private site and managed to strike a profitable deal for both parties. Not to mention the countless open signups, as recently as a month ago. I don't know how they do it, but they sure could give lectures.

That's pretty much the only thing keeping private trackers relatively safe for now. Monitoring public torrent swarms is always going to be more cost-effective due to their sheer size; lots of hits with little effort required. Nonetheless, copyright agencies can and have done infiltrations as early as 2007 (remember MediaDefender?).

Think there's a little mixup here. The tracker we know as FileList today was created on 2007 by a Romanian who wanted to replicate the success of filelist.org. It took some time to accomplish that on an international level, but needless to say, it happened. filelist.org became filepost.org after the old admin reportedly went missing, stacking up a debt of around 1000 EUR with their hosting and domain providers in the process. Then it restarted from scratch as postfile.org, merged with their sister music and porn sites, became invite-only and got rid of the infamous TTL system, but ultimately died.
IPT is indeed a success case, but in a different way. Their sysop constantly runs "time-limited" promos and fake lotteries, has DDoSed and ghostleeched from other trackers and been doxxed himself once... yet his operation gets him a few thousand dollars in profits on a bad month, because the content and speeds are good, and that's what people care about.

They'd been active on Wild-Bytes, OiNK and SCC for over a year before they were caught, which only happened because of the e-mail leak. You're delusional if you think they don't have equivalents on today's top trackers, merely sleeping because (as discussed before) those aren't worth the effort, but ready to wake up if that changes. Granted, the current status quo makes it hard for everyone to join trackers and copyright agencies are part of the group "everyone", so I guess it's technically successful on that regard.

Yes that is it, but it is not easy being an elite if you do it the way trackers want you to.

Does HDBits recruit anywhere? I see on this list (http://torrentinvites.org/trackerlist.php) that PTP and BTN are completely closed, but HDBits shows that it's "Invite only".
Encoders have invites. They know better than to disclose it publicly, but if you make consistently good uploads on other HD trackers, you may get noticed.
There was also a recruitment thread on Cinematik with moderate requirements (something like 200 weeks, 1 TB uploaded and be seeding >90% of your snatches), but I don't know if the recruiter is still active.

I don't know the specifics for this particular case, but unfortunately such high thresholds aren't unheard of. You could fake-seed 10000 torrents for one day, though :weirdo:

That might work for a user who's already ranked up, and was really seeding thousands of torrents. He won't look very suspicious if he then fake seeded a thousand torrents
For a newbie going strong from the beginning like that with cheating softwares, he'll get caught quickly and banned.
Not to forget that a tracker like m-team for example, they're really picky with torrent clients. If you accidentally added a torrent to a blacklisted torrent client in their list, the system will automatically detect it, and will disable your account instantly.

You just need the required ratio, uploads and downloads to get to the elite. I think they have an English version wiki. 10,000 days seed time is probably user invite requirement. I have not seen any official invite asking for seed time.

All the cases we described are extremes. Given the file sizes involved, fake-seeding thousands of torrents in a plausibly deniable way is very challenging irrespective of account age... and someone who has managed to do it legitimately will not want to risk his account, when all he has to do is bide his time anyway. But if you take a more moderate approach, it's definitely doable.
Not to forget that a tracker like m-team for example, they're really picky with torrent clients. If you accidentally added a torrent to a blacklisted torrent client in their list, the system will automatically detect it, and will disable your account instantly.
Sounds unnecessarily harsh. What if your client autoupdates to a banned version? Or they update the blacklist to include whatever you're using right now? Why not just block downloading and seeding for banned clients, which will get noticed just as quickly?
Automatic bans are not a good idea irrespective of how obvious or gross an offense is; everything should always be reviewed by a staff member.

I'm confused, isn't GPW open for sign ups? I went to the registration tab on the site and it is open and there is no field asking for invite code. I'm not a member there, what is so special about this site? @Anon also mentioned it in one of his older posts.

It's a movie tracker, in a time when there aren't many movie trackers. You likely remember the days of TC and GoEM being the Pepsi and RC Cola to PTP's Coke, but both closed and never got any true replacements.

10,000 days seed time really isn't that much. That's 100 torrents seeded for 100 days or 1000 torrents for 10 days.

10,000 days seed time really isn't that much. That's 100 torrents seeded for 100 days or 1000 torrents for 10 days.
Unfortunately both total seeding time and buffer are meaningless these days. Gigabit connections, Raspberry Pis and cheap storage have led to an inflation of sorts; it's not difficult to use a seedbox and/or seed a few hundred torrents for a few weeks and get incredibly flashy stats in return. Average seeding time is a more accurate indicator of someone's commitment to a tracker, I think.
Just for fun, I calculated my total and average based on my client's stats... 196 years and 358 days, respectively. Would be much higher, but I had to delete lots of stuff this year due to not having infinite disk space :rolling_eyes:

Currently, there is no reason to believe the cabal will begin recruiting there (or anywhere else), but that hasn't stopped some from going for Legendary class in GGn just in case.

A long-standing specialized tracker is always going to beat a subcategory of a general one, and this is no exception. You'll be just fine with PornoLab, by the way, no need to waste time chasing the others.

Considering recruiters usually have long queues and doing a parallel application through a different one is ill-adviced anyway, I wouldn't set a fixed threshold. Just check regularly, and once you feel "a lot" of time has passed with no response, send a second message politely asking what's going on. Who knows, you may actually get invited before reaching that point.
It's a cumbersome situation for everyone involved, but remember trackers chose this scheme, and GGn in particular specifically disallowed "semi-official" recruitment (which made response times faster for obvious reasons).

Well, that's underwhelming... there isn't even a general tracker?
RED apparently has better invites and can also be joined through an interview, but the waiting times are crazy. They don't have bonus points like OPS, but in practice that makes little difference on how most will reach the requirements for Power User.

MAM -> OPS -> GGn -> BHD is a possible route.
AvistaZ -> PTer -> BHD is another option but someone posted PTer is at or near user limit and recruiting might be suspended.
BHD might also be near the user limit. I recommend getting into a good general tracker for now such as FL, IPT or TL.

PTer is at user limit since few months. But you can still sometimes get user invite if they remove someone.
BHD is suspended at PTer, so it's not really an option, even if u can get an invite.

Just wanted to reply to this old post in case anyone was searching again.
There are only user invites on aither and that tracker is a joke anyway, so don't bother. 20 TB for "invite forum" lol.
