wiedereinmal eine klasse mod butcho. läuft sehr schnell und stabil. 2-8% cpu auslastung bei 20 mb ram verbrauch

Hi,
the mod automatically sets Download limit to whatever is set under Capacities/Download. After closing and opening Options Download limit is reduced to 1 KB/s. Why is that?

Yes you're right sorry for this. I'll look after that bug...
But you can increase the limit until i'm ready...

if you close and reopen Options the limit is back to 1 KB/s. The setting does not affect download speed, though. It seems to be a "cosmetic" bug.

Hi Butcho, thanks for your job, this mod works pretty well as for me, even on less popular files. Don't you think about merge it to 0.49a beta? Or do you wanna wait untill final release of official emule will be out?
I'll wait until the final version is out because otherwise i must build all features again if they release the next beta version. But i work now on v1.5 (0.48a) with some more nice features. I hope that i can release the new version in the next two weeks if all new options works without any problems.

Nachdem ich mit der Vorgängerversion schon sehr zufrieden bin (läuft seit Tagen brav stabil und praktisch unmerklich vor sich hin)
werde ich dann wohl noch ein wenig warten, bis du 1.5 rausbringst. ;)
Kann allen anderen den Mod nur empfehlen! :top:

hallo butcho
kannst du mal eine einstellungsempfelung heraus geben,hartlimit u. verbindungen, halboffene, und was du einstellen tust damit er gut läuft und trotzdem einermaßen sicher ist. das wäre super damit man so ein wert hat

Im Prinzip kann man die Einstellugen von (d)einem regulären Client verwenden.

Die optimalen Einstellungen sind aber sehr individuell - mit wieviel Verbindungen dein Router/Modem zB klarkommt.
Generell unbedingt KAD und Server benutzen. Server liefert dir meistens ein paar Quellen, die dann wieder andere Quellen weitergeben, die zB nur Kad benutzen.
Das kann übrigens durchaus mal dauern. Hatte da neulich ein File, wo erst nur 7 Quellen angezeigt wurden. Paar Stunden später warens auf einmal 600...
hab hardlimit auf 1000 und max verbindungen auf 500
halb offene auf 50
hardlimit kann man ja variiren wenn die datei mehr quellen als die 1000 hat

nö hab alles deaktiviert hab auch aktiviert das ich nur nachrichten aus meiner freindliste kriegen und da niemand drin ist kommen auch keine nachrichten:biggrin:

Damit haste Ruhe und echte Nachrichten können trotzdem durch.

ist das bei dieser version auch so das man als Anbieter in Suchergebnissen nicht erscheint?

Bei der Server und KAD suche tauchst du nicht auf wenn du die entsprechenden Optionen aktiviert hast.
In denn Warteschlangen anderer Clients must du erscheinen sonst würdes du ja auch nie was zum laden bekommen.
perfekt, dann können mich die leute also nur in ihrer eigenen warteschlange sehen oder?
Job du tauchst nur in den Warteschlangen der anderen clients auf die das selbe File sharen...

Was mir beim offiziellen Client immer abgeht ist mehr Einfluss auf A4AF.
Die diversen Mods hatten das eigentlich immer an Bord.
Meinst du, das könntest du in den nächsten Versionen nachrüsten? Oder ist das zu aufwändig?

Aber sicher. Kannst du dir einstellen, wie er das genau anzeigen soll.

Der Dateifortschritt wird in der Version richtig angezeigt.
Aber mit NoShare sehen dich halt nur Leute in ihren eigenen Uploadwarteschlangen.

Job sehen sie leider. In der neuesten Version ist ein "don't send complete filestatus" dabei dadurch wird dein File nie als 100% fertig angezeigt aber andere peers sehen ja eigentlich immer noch den korrekten Fortschritt aber halt nicht die 100%...
Das Problem ist halt auch sobald man z.B. immer 0% fertig sendet aber trozdem was ladet ist der client total einfach als Leecher zu entarnen...
Ich lege eigentlich immer Wert drauf das ich möglichst keine Features einbaue die dectable sind und wir somit die ganze Zeit gebannt werden...

I've already insert this feature. The new 0.49a version is in our elite area for testing now. If we don't find any bugs i can release it the next days in our public area.
i can say that the new version works way faster than this one and v1.41 was a very good mod you can loocking forward to a new great emule mod with a lot of security features.
