This is a hell of an introduction, but hell... here it goes...

User Name:
The "You should choose one that you're not using on any tracker!" is almost laughable. If any individual was to use the same name on a tacker they intend to cheat on, they deserved to be banned in my opinion. Then again I’m just making a hasty generalization that every member of this forum cheats.

Email Address:
Let’s just be real here, I’m not giving out my real email address. Especially on a site that renown for hacking. Not to even mention, the esurance the initial quote provides *RollsEyes*
On a side note for web development purposes... I entered my fake @mail.com account, and you didnd’t accept it. On Mail.com your able to rename your email alias to @reborn.com.
So... you might want to ban that extension also..

Additional required Information:
Ok, make a required box above saying:
______________________
Language: English
German
______________________
Then have some jquery auto update the below strings into the appropriate language.
In addition the English/German button could function website throughout, removing the redundant “German/English” titles seen throughout. It really adds a lot of junk. As neither the German or English readers can fully enjoy the content.

After Submission:
You send out an activation email. Although the account is already activated instantly upon sign-up. The email sent up has two links, the first of which doesn’t work correctly.(could be a browser issue on my end). And the second which just lets you know your account is already activated :-| .

Reading Rules Before Post:
The countdown timer at the bottom was cute. I liked it

Some people may not know. Don't judge so rapidly...

I’m not giving out my real email address...
If you don't trust this site then what are you doing here?

If there aren't any other complaints, welcome aboard. And as a sidenote, this is not a proper introduction.
It's not even an introduction and you're an *******.

This small paragraph perfectly shows how stupid you are. Ever thought that a german user also speaks english? Or an english user learned german? You're dumb as fuck and think you are uber pro...

Especially on a site that renown for hacking.

You could instead have a checkbox.
[ ] English
[ ] German

In which either 1 or both can be selected.

I knew I would get called on this one. Damn you!
I was thinking client modification in the back of my head. :-l

To all others:
Yes I'm an *******, and yes im a ****ed up individual.
But hey, its just some feedback.

Ironic how such a poorly written sentence could ever pay tribute to the hard work of SBI staff.

Not once in my article did I mention poor staff performance, which leads me to believe you didn’t even attempt to read my first post.

How a usability case is so offensive.. is beyond me....

Maybe english isn't his mother tongue? Or he's typing from his mobile phone? Or both? It's about what people say and not only how they say it...

Maybe he thinks that the SBI staff is also doing the web development. If you're not too familiar with IT in general thats possible. Or he saw that you joined this forum and started hating around (Ye, thats how it seems reading that post) and saw that as an insult to all the people who actually work on this website.

The post with which you started this thread seems incredibly ignorant and conceited and in this way offensive. Maybe you should read your post twice before you post it and try to be a nice and polite member on a forum. Then people would actually take the stuff you wrote seriously.

Media Propaganda: I'm all for constructive feedback and speaking your mind, but I've read your initial post, and have a question for you. What is your purpose here? Your "P2P Client" hints that you don't cheat (so that particular aspect of the forum can be discarded), and the entirety of your activity here is focused on this thread... so, you registered so that you could post feedback on the registration process?

on-topic:

User Name:
The "You should choose one that you're not using on any tracker!"

good advice, prevents unnecessary bans (some happened simply because of the identical username, without any evidence of cheating), subsequent sbi username changes or re-registering, not to mention its nice to get a generally useful tip already at the registration page

Email Address:
Let’s just be real here, I’m not giving out my real email address.

if that is the case during the registration process, it is a bit silly to ask for your 'real' email address (a 'valid' email address would be more appropriate)

removing the redundant “German/English” titles seen throughout.

not sure whether there is any, but its a good idea to offer customization of search results (EN only, DE only, both) and to avoid having ambiguous/indistinguishable or very similar forum section titles for both languages (afaik the latter was suggested quite some time ago but wasn't implemented), which might be solved by, say, using 2 different background colors for each language section (when displaying search results, section/thread headers when displaying forum sections/threads,...)

After Submission:
You send out an activation email. Although the account is already activated instantly upon sign-up.

a minor flaw, would look more professional without it i guess

i'd call it mildly annoying (and probably pointless anyways ;))

I don't feel comfortable giving away all of the requested information

Although I will say I do not cheat, nor do I ever plan on cheating.
The whole allure to cheat has never made sense to me.....
Is it really that hard to maintain a bare minimum ratio on any tracker?
With basic torrenting knowledge, even on a trashy connection, most trackers make it possible to stay afloat.

So what is it that drives people to cheat.....
The satisfaction of bypassing a security system or the lack of?
An Ego boost by having a larger ratio on a tracker?

yes coz everyone doesn't have good internet connections

Lol .. this one was way too funny ..hahahaha... my stomach is aching now..

So what is it that drives people to cheat.....
just to maintain ratio so that they won't get banned.. they ain't got a chance without cheating
however in few cases some cheat just to promote themselves quickly

The satisfaction of bypassing a security system or the lack of?
An Ego boost by having a larger ratio on a tracker?
lol  where does ego came from? everyone boosts their ratio so that they can download as much as they want
n their security is pathetic .. even 10 year old can bypass it.. so what's the satisfaction in doing things that a mere child can do?

Just to name some of the ideas off the top of my head...

DDL sites (A personal go to for me anyway, even with a decent internet connection)
Torrent sites that don't care about ratio's
Sites that only care about time uploaded not ratio (Like GFT, I believe)
Usenet
Seedbox
Neighbors Internet connection (wifi, or even wired if it's that bad)
If your going to cry about money just get a trial seedbox every other 3 days.
ETC.

Before anyone even remarks that "You can't find these files on any site but X":
You have options, some which are listed above.
But Really.... Porn, Hd, Apps, ebooks, etc. All just regular file sharing, no cheating...
But that's not good enough...

You need your level 10 Gay Magic Tracker ran by some guy in his mom's basement.

I don't feel bad for you.

in germany we use a quite popular quote from a comedian, if someone acts stupid and a real discussion would be a waste of time.
i'll try to translate it: if you don't know what you're talking about, just shut the fuck up!
